Walking into a dark room and reaching out to where the light switch should be, and brushing your finger against the wall before you find the switch plate, over time leaves dirty finger marks on the wall. This increases the size of the plastic covering on the wall by approximately an inch in all four directions. In the few weeks that I have had these I have noticed much less "fingers hitting the wall" while reaching for the switch. I'm quite happy. I now have them on all my single switch light switches.

East to install. No need to turn off power if you are careful.

Works great to stop smudging.

I bought two of these and ended up buying two more after we had our bathrooms painted. It protects the wall switches and gives the wall a clean look. Wished they came in more wall configurations.

I use these in every room that has a wall switch to turn on lights. it protects all wall surfaces. No finger prints on painted walls or on wall paper. It also just gives the room a more finished look. Easy to wipe off if a greasy or sticky hand has turned on lights. I like them, I use them and they don't look cheap even though they are affordable.

Works well to keep wall around outlet from getting dirty. Easy to install. Could possibly have been even a little wider but it’ll do.
