Empi Active TENS

My physical therapist recommended this wonderful unit back in 2010. My old one still works but I wanted a new one as a backup. I charged the new one up and wore it for five hours. It worked perfectly, just like my old one. Since Empi isn’t making the Empi Active anymore I thought I was out of luck but found this company selling them! The Empi Active is the only treatment that relieves my sciatic pain. I don’t ever want to be without it.P.S. it helps to know exactly where the nerve pinch is so that you can place the electrodes properly.

I love that they still make this device! A physical therapist introduced me to the best nerve stimulation after a serious car accident. When my back pain turned into sciatica, I remembered I had this and only needed the one component. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived so quickly. Charged it, slapped the pads on and instant relief was SO welcomed!! I highly recommend you talk to your doctor or physical therapist to get the best treatment with this TENS UNIT!

Great product

This item does NOT work. once it's been charged it will stay on for 5 mins then power off. Amazon has many companies that sell tens. find another one, and I believe this company is out of business (Empi tens)

I had a work comp injury, and their insurance company sent this to me per my physical therapists request. The only issue I’ve ever had was it started to come apart when I was traveling, my fault. I simply used super glue and it works fine. I was reading feedback from other unit brands and they were complaint theirs stopped working, so I guess I’ll just stick with my little guy that’s never stopped working.

This was a disappointment. It really was of no benefit whatsoever. I don't know if my back pain was simply too severe or if this simply is ineffective.
