MG 1/100 RGM－79 Powered GM

If you can get it at a somewhat normal price....it's a great buy. However, keep in mind this is based off an older MG GM, not the Ver2.0 GM. Still, it looks great even without paint. There's not much gimmick. Just a bulky armored GM.Why is this GM orange? In 0083 anime, this is test prototype upgrade of GM with upgrade booster for ground combat. Then during the Gundam incident, it was destroyed instantly. After this, the battle shift to space so the GM developed to be more suitable for space. Personally, I'd still love this version more than any others. If you decided to paint it, you could paint it with red/white to make it more official.

The Powered GM is among my favorite of GM designs and since I didn't have any sort of GM kit, I figured would purchase this. Starting off, the Powered GM borrows A LOT from previous kits, most notably the MG GM Kai, along with the RX-78-2 ver. ka and MG Gundam Mk.II 2.0. Most of this is just the MG GM Kai with some of the Gundam ver.ka and Gundam Mk.II along with some extra parts that make it the Powered GM. Once you finish with it, you're going to notice you'll have a lot of leftover parts, mostly from the gundam mk.II (this may come in handy should you need some spare parts for said kit). This kit also comes with 5 screws, however I opted not to use them and it still holds up just fine. For accessories, you get a beam spray gun, a machine gun with parts that allow you to configure it differently, a bazooka, and two pink beam sabers. A small set of waterslide decals is included with this. I can only really recommend this kit if you like the Powered GM due to how much is reused from previous kits and because of the price.

Love the colors the plastic is molded in, the weapons assortment is decent, could have used a second shield but no a deal breaker, superior to most MG GM. Recommended if you can find for under $60 US
