I Blue Myself!
Is it weird that I've never seen a blue harmonica before? Is it bad that the blueness was the deciding factor in buying this?I'm a pretty musical person, actually, and have taught myself to play a variety of instruments, but this one's always eluded me. It's one of those things, y'know? Kind of like the trumpet: when it's good, it's good, but when you're just starting out, it sounds like a monkey being murdered. I'd always get discouraged, put the harmonica down, and promptly lose it - which was whatever when it was a $7 thing I'd picked up on a whim in the Target checkout aisle, but not the kind of thing you wanna do with something that costs over thirty bucks. So, I figure, at least I'll make a point of not losing this one. Even if I never figure out how to play well, it won't disappear under the couch.I'm not gonna pretend I even know what a tremolo is, or how this harmonica should sound, but to my ears it's...harmonica-y? Not horrible and squawky, at least. I'm sure if I knew what I was doing it would sound much better, but it doesn't make my cat run and hide in the basement, which is a true test of tone. As I'm writing this, I'm realizing how useless a review this really is, since I don't know what I'm talking about and am making the Roseanne theme song my first learning priority - so, I dunno, until a harmonica expert comes along and says otherwise, this blue guy's got my stamp of approval.

Quality craftsmanship with German made parts.
Brother in law loves to play blue grass music and his son recently decided he wants to play along with his dad at home. His dad recommended harmonica as a compliment to his guitar playing so I picked this one up for his birthday this weekend. It is a blue harmonica that is tuned to the universal key of C so he will be balanced with his dad. It comes in a case with a wipe cloth and instructions. 99.99% copper content is anticorrosion with nice bright tones just as you would expect. From Germany they have imported the sino-german joint venture DMG CNC planer spring machine, guarantees the sound spring intonation. With thickened copper plate it does increase the sound to be clearer. The frets are ABS resin and food grade that are waterproof and healthy. Do keep in mind to not let anyone else play your harmonica as it does retain human saliva with in the harmonica so if you make the decision to let someone else use it please keep that in mind that it is just like if you kissed that person. Be sure and wipe if after each use and try to tamp out any excessive moisture that may have become trapped during play. It is a beautiful instrument that has a nice and bright tone!

Very nice quality harmonica at a reasonable price. My daughter is thrilled to have this.
This is a very good harmonica for the price. My daughter is a musician and I thought I'd get this for her just to have something different to play around with as she plays several other instruments. This is the first "real" harmonica she's ever played since all the others were just toys when she was a little kid. This harmonica has a very good, solid feel to it. It's not cheaply made at all. It also has really good sound which is what is drawing her in to it. She has basically been looking online for information on how to learn to play the harmonica and has had some success on YouTube. She told me that the thing she likes best about it is that it is so small she can pack it in her backpack or purse and carry it around with her so she can practice and play it whenever she has spare time. The thing is, it takes awhile to get good at playing it, however, it actually sounds nice even when she's just playing around with it. I'm very glad I bought this for her.

A great start for any beginner
Fankly, i have only used harmonicas from dollar store and werent that great, so when i finally decided to buy myself a better quality harmonica, this came as a pleasent surprise given its quality. One of my friend had recomended it, i saw its review so decided to give it a try. What i it :- it is a 10 hole, C Key copper harmonicaWho is it for :- Strictly for beginners, as you advanced you can buy harmonica with more holes in it as you become more aware of music. How to clean it :- surprisingly, there are no instructions for it even though it harbors so many bacteria every time you put it in your mouth. SO i am giving you steps om how to have your instrument germs free1) Rinse only with lukewarm water(no chemical or hot water).2) Tap the harmonica after each use.(to throw any debris out)3) Let your harmonica dry after playing. This will minimize spreading of germs harboring in moist conditions)4) Clean your mouth before playing.(this will reduce germs from your mouth to harmonica)

Appears Well Built and Sturdy
Trying a few new brands lately, this being one. These are priced very attractively and so far they play very well. The reeds appear to be sturdy. I tend to play fairly hard at shows, and I seem to blow out reeds on some of the Hohners too quickly. The Hohner Special 20s have become pretty pricey, so I am trying some other brands that are priced lower. This one so far seems to be a quality harp, but I've only been using it for about a month. Time will tell how well the reeds hold up.

Great!
As a child I blew on a harmonica the way kids do. As an adult I wanted to re live those memories but learn to actually play. I read the reviews and felt people were very pleased with both quality and price.I taught myself Ode to Joy in my truck, on the way to work. I LOVE this little harmonica. While I don’t know much about harmonicas I can tell you it sounds crisp and full and nothing like a child’s toy harmonica. It came with a case you can put your belt through so you can take it anywhere (and learn to play during your lunch break). It’s also small enough to carry in your pocket.Very pleased!
