Oh my word, this is the best invention EVER! My kids are so picky with the foods they eat. Mac-n-cheese is a staple in our home and I have spent years trying to figure out how to send it to school with my kids. Well, this Thermos food jar is the answer to all my problems! It keeps hot food hot for 5+ hours!! Enough time for me to heat my child’s meal in the morning and have it still be hot for them at lunch time. Also, cold items stay cold for 7+ hours! The thermos is very durable too. The price seems high at first, but when you realize how much of a lifesaver it is, you won’t bat an eye at the price! I would highly recommend this to anyone with school aged children. Perfect for school lunch. This flask fits one can of Heinz soup exactly. I warm the flask with boiled water out of the kettle/with its lid on for five minutes before adding the hot contents.My 8 year old assures me she can get the lid off and that soup is still hot at lunchtime (from 8am fill).I then place it inside the Sistema Maxi Fold-up Lunch Bag, Fabric-Polyester, Assorted colors - 21 x 16 x 17 cm - also available from Amazon - with her other bits of lunch it.It was precisely what I was on the look out for before taking her off school dinners.

I have 2 already and purchased a 3rd for the last munchkin. It does an amazing job at keeping food hot for long periods of time e.g. I put hot food in around 11.30 and it was still hot between 4.15/6! Kids had to leave the containers open for a while to cool down before they could eat.

Don’t forget to put hot water before each usage to preheatWhen I purchased another one in store, I did not know that. My kid complained the meal was not hot enough at lunch time in school.Thermos wrote it themselves in description, make sure to respect it :)« For maximum thermal efficiency, preheat or pre-chill the product just prior to use. Fill with hot/cold tap water, attach lid, let stand 5 to 10 minutes and empty water. »They have a five year warranty if you have issues in the future (if you have a cheap way to send them the product at your own expense).

We have 4 of those (in different colors) so I guess you can say we are very satisfied with this product. We use it for kids' lunches every days. Would recommend to give a spare plastic seal/joint though, as you may loose them after a little while... Thermos folks if you read this review if you could send us some spare plastic seal/joint that would be much appreciated :) but overall great sturdy product, thanks!
