A great book but the "romance" is over-sold
Thank you very much Papercutz for allowing me to preview and review the 'Love Out Loud Special' for free.I have been a huge 'The Loud House' fan since the beginning of the show. The Loud House comics have not disappointed me yet and I love how they tell the small stories fans want to see. We enjoy seeing characters in the comics that are not in many episodes of the actual cartoon and many of the side characters getting their own stories. The 'Love Out Loud Special' has been hyped up by The Loud House fans across the internet for a long time now, and after reading it, I am not disappointed. The Loud House cartoon features many types of loves, including familial love, friendship love, and LGBT+ love. 'Love Out Loud' does an amazing job honoring all these types of loves. Pretty much every romantic couple gets their own story and even the iconic friend duos from the cartoon get comics. Many of the comics have fun Easter Eggs and callbacks to the episodes. The only reason I am taking away a star is because the description on the book promises romance "that would make Cupid blush" and honestly, there is none of that in this book. For example, my favorite couple, Sam and Luna, had better romantic stories in previous comics but the comics they are featured in here are all comedic and they don't even act like a couple in a few of the stories. The other couples suffer from the same thing. Another (personal taste) gripe is that there are too many Casagrandes stories for a Loud House book.ALSO Sam's description still has her as Luna's "crush" when she is actually her girlfriend (and Sam even says it in one of the comics). Considering Benny's profile mentions he is Luan's boyfriend, and his profile is next to Sam's, it's unintentionally starting to look bad, Papercutz.

Fun Read
Lincoln Loud and his sisters keep things lively in this book. One of the great things about these is that there is an introduction or re-introduction of the characters at the beginning, allowing you to become acquainted with everyone. The illustrations are spot on, and the short stories contained within are cute, if not exactly romantic. All in all, this is a fun short read for kids and adults alike. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book.
