We bought these for my sons minecraft party. The kids loved being able to write secret messages to each other! The only down side is that the pads are on the small side.

Used these in Goody bags for my 7 year old child to give out at school for her birthday. They were a huge crowd pleaser! All of the markers worked well, as did the lights. The notebook is small, but does the trick and fits in a goody bag easily. Highly recommend!

My girls immediately loved playing spy! The only downfall was that 3 pens of 24 I ordered were dried out. Not terrible odds for a cheap party favor.

I tested each and every pen as I was writing "Happy Valentine's Day" on the first page and then checking it with the light on each pen. I bought two sets (24 total) as I needed 20 for my son's class. Off course only 19 worked! 3 red pens and 1 purple pen did not write (dried out). After writing on the pad, nothing showed. However the lights did work. One blue pen worked but the light did not. That being said I put the purple light on the blue pen to get my 20th one. I'll let my son have that one. A bit disappointed as I was planning on giving the extras to his cousins and brother.
