Gardeners know that mycorrhizal fungi is brilliant in the soil. This 200g is a dry powder that can be mixed with compost when planting . It can also be used on shrubs and trees by mixing with some soil and putting around the base and then watering in.It claims 400% more yield – I am not sure how this can be verified. However the better our soil then the better the results. It improves fertility and can be used every two months.From the product details I thought I would be receiving a jar but it came in a plastic bag so I have had to find a container for it.It is too soon to give any objective judgement but all my vegetables seem to be doing well this year.

My wife is a keen gardener and I remember my grandfather using this or something similar.

I have to start by saying I am not a gardening expert, and wanted to try grow mate root max for a certain plant in my gardenI have a cabbage plant than when I started grew quite well, then as I do leave them, I know I shouldn’t but I did.My cabbage became pot bound, changed it to a bigger more airy pot. I noticed my cabbage plant was not happy, the leaves were turning very pale in by now should be established and look a nice greenI took the plunge last year and put the plant into some decent soil my husband bought, started very slow, but not getting any bigger…I left my review a while, because I wanted to see if my cabbage plant ‘ would come alive again’I have to say I have used on all one side and with all the rain, it certainly has helped my plants, it is like a new lease of life. I tried this on several plants. Tomatoes and flowering geraniums amongst them. The results appear good. Tomatoes were vigorous until blight got them and the geraniums very floriferous. Ideally I should have run control experiments without the treatment to compare to be totally scientific.I definitely will be using it again next year.

This Grow Mate brand Rootmax treats the plants roots when initially planting the tomato plants out into their compost using mycorrhizal fungi, just a sprinkle mixed in really helps encourage stronger growth of the roots establishing and therefore will produce a stronger healthier plant and tomatoes. We’ve only recently planted our tomato out plants in the greenhouse but already they look healthy with flowers and green tomatoes on. I’ll come back later and update this review when the tomatoes are ripe and ready for eating. The packaging I received mine in was a flattish pouch containing 200g that’s resealable and letterbox friendly for an easy delivery. It can be used with flowers and other vegetables plants too such as green beans for a bigger healthier crop.

We used about a kilo of this stuff last year when we started planting a small orchard after watching Monty Don use it. It seems to have helped the trees to establish although we didn't plant a control. Everything appears to be growing well. Whether it is down to the Mycorrhizal fungi or not, we will continue to use it with all our planting. I used it on Sweet corn earlier in the year to get a crop established - that has worked on 100% of the plants, and I have recently planted directly into the soil for a later crop, again all the seeds have germinated and are doing well as does everything we have used it on, it all seems to be thriving.I have to say though that Amazon is not the cheapest supplier by a big margin and I am therefore knocking two stars off simply for the price.JC

Habe mir Grow Mate Tomate gekauft für ein besseres Wurzelwachstum und muss sagen das es zum Vergleich bei den anderen Pflanzen echt was gebracht hat.Mehr Ertrag, größere Pflanze und resistenter gegenüber Krankheiten. Kann es nur weiter empfehlen.
