Let’s start with the answers to the questions we still had before we bought it:* Weathered Gray is the perfect blend of warm and cool tones… it does not look like that bleached oak from the 80’s. It looks beautiful next to our French Oak floors and still coordinates well with our grey cabinets.* The floor of the crate is the same material as the top. And the plastic coated parts go outside the crate to protect your floors from the crate (not sure why the home video had them inside the crate.* The side panels are not reversible, but you can choose at which end to put the end doorIt is sturdier than I feared. We bought this to replace a folding cloth/mesh crate and it is way more stable and sturdy. For those previous viewers disappointed that your dog chewed on it or broke open the door… that’s a training issue and not a crate issue. I’ve been in the dog fancy for over 20 years and have had chewers and escape artists in the past. Get a metal crate if you have one of those. This is an IDEAL crate for a well mannered dog. That being said, if you feed /water your dog in the crate or if your dog is incontinent, choose a crate that offers a pan.It was EASY and FAST to build compared to other self build projects.

Was hesitant at first buying this kennel because he is so young and I didn’t want him to destroy it, but it seems to be great quality. I bought a size medium for my 10 lb, 16 inch tall, mix breed because I wanted enough space to put a bed and some walking room. I like the two door option depending on your room you can leave one door open at all times to allow them to go in and out. I would not recommend to puppies that are going through the chewing phase or dogs that are destructive to cages. If your dog is trained or small I feel like this is a good option. Also, it looks nice in your home compared to the traditional wire cages. The cushion it comes with is very nice and thick, but I bought additional waterproof washable pads to protect it while he is still training.

This is more than a crate, it's a piece of furniture. My Buddy loves it and it is his safe space. It isn't solid wood but for a mature gentle dog it will last a long time. I wouldn't recommend this for a crazy puppy or a dog that doesn't like being crated.

We bought this for our elderly 12 year old mini-dachshund who has been having accidents around the house at night. The setup wasn't overly challenging, once you get the hang of it. Definitely, would have been quicker with another adult helping me instead of my 4 year old, but we got it done! It took about an hour.The quality is good, I like the subtle gray color, and it's spacious for our dog. My only negative feedback is that the latches don't keep our dog contained through the night. He's extremely stubborn and paws at both the front of it and side of it until he can shake the latches loose and open it. So, we use a bungie chord to go around the corner of it and secure both doors. I do like it has side access for when he does #2 in the kennel; it makes it way easier to clean but if you do another version or upgrade, please switch out the latches as they don't stay secure by themselves.

I bought this kennel in October last year and today I am disassembling it to dump in the trash. It lasted a total of 4 months. My lab completely destroyed the door and chewed half the back out. It is a 300 dollars compressed wood piece of crap. It looks pretty, but it is completely impractical. Go with a wire kennel and save yourself the additional expense. If your dog is a chewer then you are just buying a really expensive chew toy. I was going to try and at least salvage it by replacing the door, but when you go to the manufactures website every piece to the kennel is on back order. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Our 80# "puppy" already comfortable. Easy to assemble, reasonable price and appears sturdy. Don't think the mattress will survive a week, but wasn't why we bought it.

Love this kennel. Very spacious and plenty of room for my Husky. I even bought 2 more for my German Shepherd and my other larger dog. They look nice in my living room and go with the decor. They are also very easy to clean if your dog has an accident in them. Now here's the but...if you have a chewer or a teething puppy, reconsider until they are out of that stage. This is what my Husky did to his kennel overnight. At least it's in a spot we can reinforce it with a piece of wood. My other 2 dogs love theirs and are not chewers so theirs are holding up beautifully. I will still give it 5 stars because I do love these kennels and it's not the kennels fault my puppy is a hard head who doesn't comprehend that his toys are for chewing, not his kennel.

Really nice looking crate, better than a wired one for the living room and gives our pooch more room to move around and have a water bowl.Easy to put together and very sturdy. I really like the magnetic quick close and that it has two ways of opening.

I love this crate. It is like a piece of furniture and not just a big ugly crate in my living room. The option of a door on the end and the side gives you more options in where you put it. The mattress it comes with is great and my dog loves her space. Lots of room for my 35lb labradoodle.

Getting a puppy in a couple of weeks and needed a cage. Searched online for ages, found this. It’s strong, easy to assemble and looks fantastic. It’s not the cheapest but worth the money. Would recommend this to anyone.
