Mommy Says I Have a Brother Paperback – Illustrated, October 6, 2020

The book was a cute approach to a difficult topic for children. So many sibling loss books are about a sibling lost during pregnancy or as a preemie who never came home. I am raising now 6.5 year old and 3 year old girls. Between them I had a son for 3.5 months, when my older was about 2.5 years old. My older daughter talks to the younger about "our brother" and the younger sister keeps asking "Who?" so this helps her understand ways their brother is still a part of our lives, besides the large teddy bear who we dress to personify the missing brother.

For a friend who recently lost a child. She has a 3 year old and I thought this book would be helpful. She loved it! She said it’s really sweet and talks about birthdays and such. How the little brother will always be there for everything. Very happy with my purchase
