I like this six leaf blade. I use this to grind chutneys and make spice powders.Time of grinding is reduced when compared with 4 leaf blade. I am getting fine powders and smooth chutneys. Since it is 6 leaf blade, when I place this blade in to my Oster jar I need to use certain angle to insert the blade into my jar. I can't insert straightly as I do for 4 leaf blade. But it's not an issue for me. I recommend this blade.

Only the blades are stainless. The assembly hardware looks like it will be subject to corrosion overtime.

So there are 2 more blades on this than on the original that came with my blender. Will it make a difference? We will see. I've used it twice since it came and can't see much difference so far, but the seller wanted a review, so here it is. Once I've had opportunity to see how it performs under pressure and to see what kind of longevity it has I'll revisit this s forum.

So I didnt even know you could buy a replacement part for the blender without going trough the manufacterer. However I put this one in and have to say Bravo!! This actually chops ice. A lot of blenders say tey chop ice but really its a job for it to do so. This did it so nicely I shaved it down and made sno-cones for the kids on this 100 degree day. This is going to be perfect for my smoothies, No more ice chunks.
