I've gotten these for both of my rear doors. There is no reason to buy a plastic one again! I broke 4 of the plastic ones before I found out someone makes metal ones. The plastic ones always break at the worst time, in the middle of the night when it's snowing like crazy when you're already mad. If you are debating over saving a few bucks on the plastic ones, save your time and trouble and just get the metal ones.

The factory installed third door handle in my truck lasted for 23 years!
The new handle is a perfect fit and has a quality look and feel. The part that that hits the opening lever is metal and is part of the handle.
