Seems like all the color changing bulbs are incomplete. This one is no exceptions. As far as bluetooth connection goes, it's decent enough.Color changing bulbs are not yet complete products. I have found through testing several color changing bulbs, ranging from $50 bulb to $13 bulb, that they either lack one thing or the other. I am not sure whether this is because they have different priorities, or just depending on which diodes they get for cheap. This one in particular is very good as far as white colors are concerned! It ranges from soft white to daylight, all with very decent brightness and stands out from the pack. But when it comes to other colors (green, yellow, blue, red, etc.), brightness levels are abysmal! The yellow color specifically is terrible, and is more green than yellow. Brightness levels of these colors are not much better than your phone screen! So buy this one if you mostly use whites and doesn't care much for color, otherwise pick another brand.Bluetooth connectivity is decent. Yet I don't get why they didn't group both light and media control to one bluetooth connection. As it stands at the moment, the speaker has one separate bluetooth connection and the light control has another separate connection. To control one or the other, you'd have to switch between them in your phone bluetooth tab! Not very convenient as you'd have to pause the music to change bulb color. I am assuming they haven't had the tech to do both in 1 connection.Sound isn't the best coming out of this lightbulb speaker. At higher volume, the sound starts to break and music isn't as coherent anymore. At lower volume, it's more decent but still sounds very muffled. At one point, I swear I heard Taylor Swift tried to sing with a cloth stuffing her mouth!After this bulb, I probably won't recommend anyone buying these bulbs at the moment. Color changing bulbs and bulb-speaker integration are very cool concept but the technology and the price just aren't there yet! You'd probably have to pay through the nose to get a decent one and even then you may not be 100% satisfied.

While the audio is not the absolute best, it's okay...I mean really, what do you expect from a light bulb? Words of advise, when you first pair, be VERY CLOSE to the bulb to pick up both the bulb (for BT audio) and the App (for changing colors). Once BOTH are paired, it works just like any other BT speaker...trust me. I like it set to ultra white LED for normal use, but sometimes you just get into the mood to blackout the bathroom and shower in a color changing dance club....It's perfect for that!!! Can't give 5 stars because I'm am audio clarity snob.

originally i gave this 4 stars and gave it a great review after i got it and used it for a week or so. after a couple months of very rare use it stopped working. you buy a bulb like this you would expect it to last. well it does not. it is cool and all but it's not apparently built to last even with light use.

I love the sound this light bulb gives off. I have it in my bathroom and each family connects to it easily. I have had this product for 2yrs now and I have not had any problems. I wish I would have bought more when they were only $1 lol

We put this out on our deck and our guests love how it sounds also its pretty cool how you can change the color of the lights and make the lights flicker like a candle..def buying another

I loved it we could change the color we wanted and my kids also loved it
