This is a lovely, lightly volumizing hair treatment. It smells great and is easy to use. It feels thick and rich and rinses away clean. I have baby fine hair that is oil near the scalp, dry and damaged at the ends and tangles easily. It is a royal pain to deal with, and breaks easily so I am always trying to find hair care products that will help. I like this one, as it leaves my scalp feeling refreshed and my hair soft and smooth. It doesn't weigh my hair down, but it also doesn't add as much volume as I expected. I typically wash my hair every day -- sometimes I get away with every other day by sleeping with my hair in a silk cap. I don't dye, perm or blow-dry my hair and I very rarely use hot rollers. I'll use this product once a week or so as a scalp treatment but I need something that adds a bit more volume as my routine conditioner/treatment. The current price of $23.00 for less than eight ounces is a bit high. If it worked better for me I would be happy to buy it at that price. I'm sure it works well for some hair, but mine seems to be a hopeless cause. The treatment arrived properly sealed in an easy to use tube.

I have used another product by Jenny House which I love the results from, so took a chance onthe Volume Up Treatment.I have fine hair, co wash regularly, and only wash 1X - 2X a week depending on styling, products, activity,and thought this may help clear and cleanse my scalp and boost my volume.The product stripped my hair , left it dry and frizzy, and also a stiff residue.This proved to be not for me, my hair type.

Most volumizing conditioners aren't that moisturizing since they generally don't contain oils that can weigh down hair but this one left my hair soft and I haven't had any flyaways. This conditioner does a great job and has a lovely citrus/fresh fruit scent that matches the shampoo. I wish it stuck around a bit but it does fade quickly. This contains a lot of great ingredients that really help condition the scalp as well as your hair. I am going to use this up and perhaps buy more. I love the creamy texture that softens my hair and leaves no greasy film. The feel my hair has is neutral and moisturized. It smells like oranges and has a lightweight feel, so your roots aren't weighed down. That is very important because all my adult life, hairdressers have been putting heavy mousses and gels to make my hair appear thicker. It just doesn't work that way. Also, I have realized over the years that if you want your hair to look like it has more body, it is best not to apply products to the roots. Besides, this product adds body/volume. So, If you want to keep your hair from lying flat, avoid that area when conditioning and using the product (lightweight) to prepare for a blow-dry or other styling option. There is no greasy film. The product is very thick, and it comes out in a thin stream out of a smaller opening.I like the feel of this product in my hair after my peppermint shampoo and conditioner for hair loss. This product adds some extra moisture and helps minimize the large patch of frizz from overexposure to bleaching. There is another product from this line for curls. Following this product up with that JENNYHOUSE serum one is excellent; again, both products are very lightweight.I love, love this one! I love the scent—a pleasant treat—well-worth the price tag.Enjoy!

The JENNYHOUSE Self-Up Volume Treatment came well packaged, sealed in a plastic wrap. My wife tried it as she enjoyed using the JENNYHOUSE shampoo. But unfortunately, the volume treatment was a bust. She applied it and let it soak in for a few minutes before rinsing off. It completely tangled up her hair and made it almost impossible to brush out with a wet brush. Once she did, she saw that some hair broke off.After she finally brushed it out she decided to let it air dry. Her hair dried to a frizzy unmanageable mess. It is not healthy and shiny looking like she thought it would be. She will not be using this product again. She wanted to like it, but unless you have super fine hair that's not susceptible to tangles, dryness and frizz, I cannot recommend this product.Made in Korea~ Kort
