I have long, thin legs, and most stockings I buy are either too short or don't stay up on my leg. These Extra Long Thigh High Socks from Teehee were the perfect fit for me. They really are exceptionally long. So much so, that I had to fold down the top. I didn't mind this... (I'd rather a product like this be too long rather than not long enough!) The material has enough "give" to it to be easily put on and taken off, and they STAY UP. Not once did I have to push these socks up. They did not fall down, even after sleeping in them. Machine washing and drying did not alter the fit at all. The socks are patterned, so you have to make sure you like a textured sock. They help keep your legs moderately warmer. I would only offer this word of warning: these are NOT one size fits all. Expect to have to fold them over at the top unless you are EXTREMELY long-legged. Also, these socks are not going to accommodate legs that are very wide or muscular. I am underweight for my height. My legs are kind of stick-like. I was surprised that as thin as I am, these socks would be almost too tight on my upper thigh. Keep this in mind when considering buying these socks. They are very, very narrow width-wise. If you have very thin legs that are longer than most, though, you are going to love these! I know I do. They were a wonderful purchase. I would love if I could find these in a non-textured style.

Finally a sock that isn’t too tight, that doesn’t ride down, is actually soft, and comes in good colors.

Stylish, versatile colors. Comfortable. They fit over my jeans too which looks cool with tall boots. These absolutely come up over my knee to mid-thigh like the photo which I love (I'm 5'6, 140 athletic). I only gave 4 stars because like other reviews stated, the top of the sock is circulation-stopping tight. OUCH. It really becomes a nuisance and I kept fidgeting to adjust the top of the sock as it dug in. And if you have more abundant thighs or quads the sock will totally compress your leg and cause that indent/bulge over the top of the sock that we all hate. I don't know why these were designed so tight like this unless it was an attempt to help keep the sock from sliding down. But the material is clingy enough to "stick" to your leg without the death grip. I have not cut the socks like some other people because I don't know how the entire sock won't unravel if you cut it? I have muscular quads so the sock doesn't cause much of an indent in my thigh - but it is sure uncomfortable. I will see if I can pull the top apart and maybe permanently stretch it out. Otherwise extremely cute and wonderful socks.

These are my first over the knee socks. They're just a little shorter than I'd have liked, but considering I'm a male and these socks are marketed to women I can't be too upset. I'm 5'11" and these come about an inch or two above the knee. I'll have to use a garter of some sort to hold them up.Regardless, these socks have a nice texture, and keep my legs very warm. This is likely due to the majority of the material being acrylic. I'm going to be trying them out while wearing a kilt. Winter is coming, and I'm hoping these will fit the bill.

They look so cute that I was waiting for them to go on sale. Using a wheelchair I have very skinny legs & thigh high socks on 24/7 to keep my feet warm & help circulation. I expected them to be longer for me than normal but I don't mind until I tried them on. The top flat elastic band can't fit around my mid thigh so it's painful not to fold down the band but even then they roll down & that's painful. Won't buy again.

Love to wear long socks under jeans in the winter time. These are perfect.

I was skeptical because I have very long legs (34-35 inseam), but these are wonderfully long, and hit me above the knee even after I've walked around a little bit. If you are shorter, they will go all the way up! I do tug them up now & then, but what can one expect! If they were so tight to stay in place, they wouldn't be comfortable! I am a size 16 pants, but I do have fairly slender legs. They are super cute under a dress with boots for winter. I recommend! I think they will work well for larger size legs too.

This review is in regard to the pointelle cotton four pack (11396-4 Pairs), and be aware that the other ones are different material and/or length.These are by far the best socks I've ever owned. I have LONG slender legs (I'm 6'1" 160 lbs, and my calves are a normal 15" circumference), and even the vast majority of knee socks don't even make it to my knees. But these socks go way up over my knee. After wearing them a while, and walking, they WILL tend to roll down a little bit (but never below the knee). In one of my pictures you can see that I just fold it over, and that allows the sock to stay put right above my knee. In the other photo I pulled the sock all the way up to my mid-thigh, just to prove to you how very LONG these socks are. (The color of that particular sock in my photos is the peach one ... sorry, the lighting is not good).They wash well, and the quality is very good... they aren't too thin at all. I even wear them to bed, and they don't scrunch down at all, and they keep my legs so warm that I feel like I am using another blanket!! Just ordered four more pair to make sure I'll have these around for the next several years ... thank you TeeHee Socks!!!

Ordered them for my gf, she really likes them except that they are not above the knee. They stop just short of the knee.
