Nice Racks.
I bought a pair of these to replace a rusty old chrome-plated item and wanted nice new ones for our newly redecorated kitchen. We selected this particular type for several reasons:-•They were the perfect size- ours are 52.7cm total and 48.4cm bar (ie usable) length and relatively low profile, standing out just 3.5cm from the wall.•We liked the quantity of hooks (12) and that they are on sleeves, which can slide up and down the bar but, unlike S hooks, cannot come loose from it.•We liked the material. Stainless is the best stuff for kitchens (and most other places!). The components which are screwed to the wall are drilled and grooved aluminium cylinders- one each side, so also corrosion resistant. I don’t think the fixing screws or grub screws are stainless but will keep an eye on them.•There were predominantly good reviews for the item.Fixing was relatively simple- some of the reviews mentioned problems with drilling correctly spaced holes. This is fairy critical as the outer closed-end tubular stainless steel posts locate quite snugly on the stubby aluminium cylinders which are screwed to the wall. There is a relatively simple method to achieve this precision. With the rack assembled- ie, as it comes straight out of the box, simply stick a length of masking tape to cover both holes making sure the tape is tight. Use a marker pen to mark the position of the two screw holes (easily visible through the tape) and use a rule to gently draw a line between them. You then use the tape as a template which can be stuck to the wall, then use the line between the hole marks and a spirit level to get it square. You then drill through the tape at the positions marked and, hey presto, two perfectly spaced and aligned holes. You can give yourself more leeway by loosening the grubscrews holding the bar to the two end posts. The only slight issue I had was that the grubscrews’ hole in the stainless outer doesn’t perfectly align with the groove in the aluminium cylinder when they are fixed to the wall, The grubscrews are pointed so still fix the rack securely but don’t tighten flush. You could enlarge the groove slightly if this offends you. It does slightly me but ennui has set in and it remains a job for next time I remove the rack.I used the screws provided but swapped the rawlplugs for better ones (red 6mm Rawlplug branded ones).Overall we were impressed with the speed of delivery and are very pleased with the rack’s design, construction, quality and finish. It seems more than capable of holding a full complement of utensils and two racks were less than £18 which seems very good value.

this is awesome
I'm very happy with this. I needed something strong for storage purposes and this ticks all the boxes. It feels so sturdy. I love the hooks don't come of when your hooking and unhooking items. I've got two and put them up in my porch to hang the dog lead, launcher, towel, etc There's plenty of hooks so I can hang everything I need. Its fantastic! A real sturdy product for an extremely reasonable price. I'd highly recommend this! Thank you

Good quality, adjustable and well made.
The length of the horizontal bar is adjustable by about 1cm, which is more than enough to take up any wobbly drilling. So, you measure and drill the holes and then approach the holes with the bar inserted into one of the fittings. Tighten that (slightly) and then add the second fitting and align it with the hole. That's about it. You get a very solid and adjustable rack made of stainless steel. Once you have gathered the necessary equipment, fitting time is about 10 minutes.

Great for hanging medals!
Sturdy design. Ideal for hanging medals. You will need stronger scews if you put the hanger on plasterboard.
