It does a little but less than a normal rain jacket. It is very nice!

You can say that. It’s a “fitted” jacket. Not very forgiving.

Q: where is it made? Does it have a lining? Is it waterproof?

China. Lining yes. And definitely not waterproof but it should help in a light rain for a short period. What I hate is wrong side zipper pull.
