Nice beginner press
It is a beautifully made press. Smooth edged and functional. It is good for pressing soft to medium soft cheeses like paneer. I did press a cheddar with it but had difficulty balancing heavy weights on top, it wanted to tilt. It may have worked if I had different type weights.

Simple design, high quality
I have not tried the press yet, but am very impressed with the quality. It is primarily made of nice, high-quality wood and is easy to set up. Based on other customer comments, will be prepping the wood with mineral oil, and may try placing saucers under the plastic tubs instead of having the liquids run over and down the bottom shelf of the press.

Well made, Product of the Ukraine
Item arrived quickly and was as pictured. It is a huge step up from what I was using. It is simple to use and also to assemble, disassemble and store. As with a cutting board, I used mineral oil to protect it from moisture. Two applications seemed to be enough, with adequate time for absorption of the oil.Once ready to go I used it with a baking pan under it to catch the whey. The posts have square feet about 3/4" tall which holds the bottom board up and out of the collected whey. All in all this works and is great for the money. I would buy again.

Good quality press
Well made. Looks good. Easy to assemble and disassemble.
