Glaze is even prettier on these!These mugs are beautiful- the glaze reminds me of the carnival glass my grandmother had when I was a child. Also- I was pleasantly surprised that the mugs are larger than I thought they would be. Very sturdy, well made, with a good weight to them. Packaged well- all arrived without any chipping. Will be buying more.

These look exactly as pictured. You know how you see something beautiful and you order it and then it shows up and it's really cheap and looks nothing like the photograph? Yeah, this isn't it. It's gorgeous and exactly as pictured. My new favorite mugs! Not too heavy, but holds a generous 14 oz, I think. And you can order in either two or four, depending on whether you're a single or couple, or a family. Or just want extras. From what I could tell, these are safe glazes, too.

Coffee mugs, perfect size and beautiful color.

Nice solid 14 oz. heavy cup. Easy to handle, keeps coffee warmer than a porcelain cup. I love it.

Nice sized larger mug easy to grip

Beautiful, sturdy works of art. After 6 (?) years my husband accidently dropped one. I got him a new set of four on Father's Day. This is one of those purchases you kick yourself over if you don't get two sets.

I knew when I purchased these mugs that they did have a special treatment to the glaze but I was not prepared for how beautiful they were when I pulled them out of their shipping box. Although they are basically red, a beautiful rainbow of highlights appears when you handle the mugs. They are truly unique and a worthy purchase for either yourself or a beloved friend.These are large mugs, suitable for sipping tea. They are also hefty enough to retain heat well. Another wonderful feature of these mugs is that they have a circle of unglazed ceramic around the bottom. It took me a while to realize it, but this unglazed area is perfect for supporting a hot mug. You place your fingers on the unglazed area to hold the mug up and your fingers do not burn. This area is cooler than the glazed surface of the mug.When a mug is most of the way full but not full enough to overflow, it holds a little less than 16 ounces or 2 cups. See pictures.My only complaint about these mugs is that you only four mugs in a box. A larger quantity would be more suitable for a family or for entertaining.

These are so attractive, and sturdy. They are earthenware pottery, and not feather light flimsy ceramic disguised as pottery. Being pottery, one does have a slight flaw on the edge where it gets a bit thin and dented. I am using that one first, as I tend to break mugs. I get a joy looking at them, and I like how much they hold (approx 16oz). They are curved and sit nicely in my hands. I love these.

Very cute! They are quite thick and large sized, I love the sturdiness and find them super easy to hold. Took a pic with my coffee machine for scale.

I am obsessed! So frigging happy with them. They are stunning and look just like the picture. When received in the mail they were packaged in styrofoam so they had no wiggle room to be damaged. Was very impressed. It’s always scary buying something online that you can’t pick out. But these were flawless.
