This is absolutely wonderful for making spaetzle! I got it for Christmas. They also give you a recipe for spaetzle, in case you don't have one, which is nice. Little tip, spray the top and bottom with non-stick spray before use and clean up is a BREEZE!! Making spatzle is SO EASY with this unit. You just plop your mix on top and scrap it into the hot water, and INSTANTLY have spatzle!! I LOVE IT!!!!! Clean up is a breeze also. I saw some for sale without out the screen scoop, but that is really handy to get the spatzle out of the pot. I will make spatzle a lot more often now with this unit. Get it, you will LOVE it too.

Product works great...!!! But, only received the noodle maker and scraper. The wire strainer was not in the package.

Easy way to make speatzles, just spray with oil and drag the dough across to force through into boiling water. Use about 1/4 cup of dough at a time, because steam from water will heat up the grate and if you have more dough it will start to cook it before you can get it through the holes into the water

I love this product. My husband loves drop dumplings in soups and I find it very time consuming. Since spatzle is like a small dumpling, it makes adding them to soup a snap. I recommend following the instructions for the batter as it seems to work well. I think this will make great gifts for family members!!

I love spaetzle and finally broke down and got an official spaetzle maker! I was using other tools in my kitchen to try to get by but there's nothing like having the proper tools! The holes are bigger which makes for much easier creating... and the slotted scoop is the BEST!!!

Works like a charm. Be sure to use anti stick spray!
