Do a test run before use on your face.....
I am tasked with writing honest reviews through the rules of Amazon Vine, and sometimes I have been called to the carpet for being too honest as some of the products are being offered as new to the site. I tried this once and it was not a pleasant experience. The only instructions say to use 5 drops, added to your daily makeup or lotion. However, there is no indicator as to how much of your daily regime should be used with the 5 drops. Now I don't know about the rest of you, but I do not take a bit of my lotion or my makeup, put it aside for measurements sake, ever. I use whatever out of the bottle, jar, etc, so I had not idea what the ratio should be. What I did do to test this products was use an ampule of my daily lotion, put it in a very small container, and add 5 drops. Mixed it all up and applied to my face. On my cheeks and chin, no problem. However, when I applied it to my forehead, I am surprised flames did not burst out of my face. My lotion contains Retin A which tends to make my face a bit red after applied, but the addition of this serum sent the burn off the richter scale. Does it make your skin look tanned? I have no clue. I had to wash the concoction off my face with soap and water to stop the burn. This could just be me, and the lotion I mixed it with. I can't really offer how to try this out on your forearm, or anywhere else before applying to your face. The instructions don't tell you how much of your original lotion or makeup to use, mixed with their 5 drops.

Smells nice and is sparkly
I have been using tanning drops which I prefer over a self-tanning lotion. The reason is I can mix it with my own lotion or cream AND I can control the darkness a lot easier.I like the scent of these drops. They are a coconut-tropical scent which I like.It is somewhat of a thick liquid and it mixes well with my body lotion. It has a bit of a sparkle which is nice. One thing I noticed is it seemed like I got a little more orange than the other drops I’ve been using (Coco&Eve Face Drops). Everyone’s skin reacts differently to the two main ingredients used in home self-tanning products. The two ingredients are Dihydroxyacetone and Erythrulose. Dihydroxyacetone is usually the first of the two listed. It is the least expensive of the two ingredients that manufactures use. Erythrulose is more expensive, so typically you will see this listed second. In the case of this product Erythrulose is way down in the ingredient list which means there’s less of it than Dihydroxyacetone. For my skin, the self tanner works better when there is more of an even balance of those two ingredients. The Coco&Eve has more well balanced proportions of these two main ingredients that will darken your skin.I do like this product and it is fine for my legs, arms, torso, but I tend to not use it on my face because it does give a bit of an orangish tone.

Skinny Tan sunless tanner face drops
I'm an avid sunless tanner. Love trying new brands and products. I've been using several lately from Skinny Tan and have been happy with each of them. But when it comes to my face I don't like using tanning lotions or tanning mousse. I prefer drops. So this is perfect for me.Mix 6 drops in with your moisturizer and you're good to go. I put this sunless tanner in with my moisturizer last night, went to bed and woke up looking like I had a natural and very pretty complexion (my natural color is pastey, my Italian heritage forgot to deposit olive skin into my genes during my making). I'll probably so this for another night and then use it every 2-3 days or so to maintain the color.

these drops work great - I just find it awkward to dilute my moisturizer or serum with them
As you probably already know, these are drops that you mix in with your moisturizer or serum. They recommend 6 drops and that’s what I do. I’ve done this overnight and I’ve done this in the morning, they both work fine and I do notice the color. I get why these are popular, but I do find all tanning drops a bit awkward to use - or maybe I just need more practice. First there is measuring out the “right amount of moisturizer or serum ahead of time. I really don’t know how much I need - I just take more from the bottle until I have applied “enough.” I find it awkward to pre measure the amount, so I can mix it with the drops, and I am usually short or took too much. Second, adding the drops to the product CHANGES it - makes it looser, more liquidity. And then I don’t enjoy applying the product as much when it is “diluted.” So I do see the appeal of these drops, and this brand works great - I just don’t know that this is for me.

Just another step to add to my routine… 😑
I’ve tried another tanning serum/drop like this before. This one seems to be gentle and doesn’t irritate my skin. The only problem is that it just seems like another step and bottle to add to my daily routine. As a busy mom to a toddler, I don’t always have the time (or SPACE) to add a additional step or product. It’s easy enough to do… I simply added a couple drops to my regular moisturizer at night. I’m always leery of tanning my hands, so I used latex gloves. my skin felt a little heavy from this; not oily or greasy… Just a bit heavier. I did notice a tan the next day but it was strange using two different tanning products on my body and my face. I used Skinny Tan’s spray oil on my body, which seemed to give me a darker tan than my face. Maybe I need an extra drop or two in my moisturizer so it matches??Honestly, my skin has always handled using the same self tanner on my face and body… so I think I’ll continue doing that. It’s a pretty bottle though, and smells like coconut. I did notice that nasty self tanner aroma the next morning, though.Hope this helps! 😉

OK if your going to work for Charlie at his chocolate factory!!
I was very disappointed in these, I like skinny tan products but Jesus I looked like my eyebrows were in for auditions for an umpalumpa, only uses 3 drops my first time, followed all instructions, pretty simple really evenly spread across the face and neck, well it was like a riot gone wrong, once I rectified the brow job it looked OK but I near scrubbed half the brows off, I was on holiday to so had to make use of what I had with me. Faded like with one wash and I couldn't really leave my un washed, half of what eyebrows I had left and my faded face. However moral of the story they don't make you skinny so don't fall for that BS my face was like a balloon after my intense srubbing of the slugs. Just don't buy them...or try them before you go on holiday not on the way there or you may get out the car after a 7hr drive and think you've picked up a stranger 😉

Not as expected
The smell was very strong and awful, very orange in colour, nice sparkle to it but only in the bottle - not visible on the skin. The drop pipe isn't working, hence unable to calculate amount of drops applied. Not for me.
