I’m for finding the balance between happy, safe cats and protecting wildlife. These tubes do that.THE SHORT - Best quality. Best zipper hands down. Works with many other brands. I can add more sections as I choose. Used thoughtfully, mesh cat tubes provide some safety for my cats to be outdoors.THE LONG - Mesh screened cat tunnels have given my cats lots of freedom outdoors since kittenhood while saving the bunnies and birds from my feline’s instinctive desire to hunt for well over 15 years now. Adding sections and winding them around shrubs and plants and then into open grass makes it inviting for my cats to run, lounge, and observe and have both sun and shade.My cats experience the mesh tube system as giving them limited but still engaging freedom. I have one end connecting to a cat door so they can go in and out on their own. My cats have never tried to get out of one. I think because they can enter and leave at their discretion. But, i do close it off to keep them in the house if the need arises.I would imagine that some cats might try to get out by eventually damaging the mesh if they aren’t used to being somewhat enclosed.If a cat or kitten is hesitant and won’t enter, treats might do the trick, as well as covering sections, such as with a towel on top, so they feel hidden and protected. Make their first experiences in mesh tubes safe, fun and tasty and they should adapt just fine and the backyard birds, snakes and lizards kept off their menu.I have bagged up and brought a couple sections when we’ve traveled and this worked well as a portable kennel so long as they were safely beside me. Adding a litter box at one end worked great. Food and water at the other end. But, I was always close at hand and they wore secure body harnesses at all times on any trips so that I could quickly leash them before lifting them in or out of the car, carrier or tube.Over the years, brands have come and gone leaving me with tubes that fit poorly together when trying to combine them with another brand to lengthen or replace a worn section of their run. The cats began with one tube, i think the Outdoor Jack, and now have nearly 20, half of them the iTent. They also have a spacious-for-them cat tent from another brand (I’m sorry i can’t remember). I added an old canvas beach chair and water dish and a small waterproof mat over the gravel for them to sit on in the mesh tent. Getting the folding beach chair in took some doing but…cats and chairs…so keep in mind that anything going in has to fit the opening as well as the length and the sloping height.iTent solved all the misfitting, twisting and zipping flaws of many other brands that had made putting together tubes or mixing with other brands a hassle. Whoever engineered the iTent zipper…Bravo! And, thank you for making mixing and matching so easy. Their mesh is superior and the fabric sewn around the coil is strong, making these the best, most sturdy mesh cat tubes I’ve used.

Absolutely live this brand and all the attachments. I have a set of these for traveling with the cats in my travel trailer and a set for home. My cats haven't been able to put a single hole in the mesh over the past year and they are juvenile cats so they play hard. I slowly expand upon my existing tent/tunnel setup as they go on sale. While a great item for safe outdoor play, they are a bit expensive full price. My only note for the manufacturer is to change the zippers to metal from plastic. Then they'd be worth every penny at the full price. The plastic gets harder to zip with age although they are all still going strong. I may try spraying some WD-40 on them one of these days when when the kitties are in for the night.

I have had this for one day. the cats have been unable to scratch their way out. If it holds up I will be purchasing more runs with tubes so they can run in a circle. One cat, the hunter, doesn't care too much for it. the other is liking it. They are indoor cats. We have a large wooded park behind our house so I cannot just let them roam. I like it because it's sturdy and they have been able to get out of their leashes when I take them outside so I needed the next best thing.

We were able to remove the old damaged tube and attach this new one without having to buy a whole new tent. Great idea to be able to replace just the tube

Was surprised how quickly my cat took to these four attached tunnels. Have them in the grass under the trees near the bird feeders. She sleeps in the tunnel when not watching the birds.The mesh allows her to feel the grass under her feet and belly.Very portable with a separate carry bag for each tunnel with shoulder strap.Thinking of attaching four more tunnels through the bushes into a garden area.

I adopted a former stray that would rather be outside. The iTent tunnels are an excellent compromise - he gets to be outside more and I don’t have to worry about him running off. I’ve purchased a few of these and connected them around the backyard. He seems to enjoy the setup.My other cat will go in, but does not like the entrances to be closed up.

I have a large Siamese cat and this tunnel is wide enough for him to feel comfortable! Such a great purchase and very well made! I will me purchasing more pieces!!

The media could not be loaded.  Brought this tunnel to connect my cats enclosure to the house so she can come and go as she pleases. It was perfect for what I needed and my cat has approves it.

Pros. Well made , zips together wellCons. Slightly different size then other tunnels I have brought.

Bought it to add to the itent cat tent that we bought and it was a perfect fit. When we packed them up and brought them in the house the cats where upset and we had to leave them setup for them to play in the house. They run and play in them everyday.

I needed a flight tunnel for my 3 female canaries (so they can exercise and not make a mess in my home,which they were doing before). They love these - I actually hang them going from an open door from the hanging cage,and tie the tunnels with twist ties up along the ceiling (tunnel hangs from small ceiling hooks) . Finally they can feel like they have some freedom from their cage and fly like real birds fly. Kudos - I don't know why no other bird owners didn't think of this brilliant tunnel! it's great for small and medium sized birds.
