Very useful
It is sturdy and easy to mount and I like the fact that after building a bracket for my boat, that I can easily move it from my kayak to my boat with the need of a toolbox and hours of work.

What a great product
It works. It shows where the fish are we were even using it around 221 feet up in maine to track monsters!!! Prob the best portable unit in the market OH MAKE SURE YOUR TRANSPONDER IS THE CORRECT DIRECTION. We made that mistake the first two days and thought she was broken. Nope works pretty much for 5 hours with 4 AAAs. Tracks schools of fish very well.

Just buy a Garmin striker 4+
Screen Stopped working 3rd trip out. My bad for not buying warranty. Anyways my suggestion after lots of research after the fact I say "Just buy a Garmin striker 4+ it costs the same $ and has GPS and plotting

Will not power on
AFTER NUMEROUS BATTERY REPLACEMENT STILL CANNOT GET UNIT TO POWER ON

Wildly inaccurate
Depth was wildly inaccurate. Lake area with a known depth of 8 feet showed anywhere from 15-24 feet, and fluctuated rapidly. If depth is important to you, look elsewhere. Very disappointed in this product. Unfortunately I missed my return window, and am now stuck with this piece of junk, which is now a workbench paperweight.
