Demeter Funeral Home Cologne Spray By Demeter 120 ml Cologne Spray For Women

I have been a big fan of Demeter fragrances for decades and I absolutely love how familiar all of the beautiful fragrances are! I have to admit when I saw this one I was attracted to it because of the name of course and I was very happy with the fragrance! I usually like sweet candy fragrances and fruit and soapy fragrances and I'm usually not a fan of flowers but this one actually does bring back memories of being at funerals and as other people have said in the reviews it does smell very very much like a musty sort of stale bookstore and I think I smell a lot of Gardenia in the fragrance also. It does have a refreshing scent as well though and it is strong and stays on you for a long time but if you love fragrance you will be tempted to keep applying it because of all those memories it brings back. Demeter fragrances are good for your brain! Always uplifting even funeral home LOL!

I am an officer manager of a funeral home and when I saw this perfume I absolutely had to try it. If you’ve been to a visitation before, you know how funeral flowers smell and this is just like it.We did a service and the wife of the gentleman that we buried came in and loved how it smelled so I gave it to her. She loved it and the name of it.

Don’t waste your money and buy it from the Demeter website. This smells like lighter fluid and is incredibly weak! The only funeral this smells like is a viking’s because you’d have to douse yourself with it in anticipation to be set on fire. The actual scent is sophisticated and lovely, I can’t say the same for this spray.

I'm really glad I gave Funeral Home a try, not only because it smells just like a mourning bouquet (I think I smell mainly lilies) but because it's a light scent that doesn't overpower but still lasts most of the day. I'm obsessed with the scent and often keep wanting to smell my own clothes. It's is a sweet but somber perfume and although it definitely evokes more melancholic memories, it is easily becoming my favorite.

Am giving myself the chills with this unique scent. The first thing that comes to mind is cold stone like marble. Since they also make "petrichor" or the smell of rain, they used that to create the main note in this gothy scent.
