BaByliss Salon Power Diffuser 2100 Hair Dryer

I wanted a hairdryer that was cheap but effective and that is what I got! It dries mine and my girlfriend's hair very quickly. I liked the fact that it has a ceramic element to protect your hair. The only downside that I would say is that it is a tad noisy. Unlike other reviewers who have mentioned the colour and finish, I think that it looks great and not cheap at all. I read a number of reviews about the hairdryer before purchasing and was torn between the GHD Air and this one and ended up choosing this one - glad I did because it provides a good balance of features for a great price.

Love this hair dryer, dries hair quickly. It's easy to use, very like most other types. It is quite heavy but I find if you hold it on the barrel it balances better and you don't notice the weight so much. It is powerful and so I rarely use it on the high heat, full power settings - useful if you want to rough dry very wet hair.

I had my previous hair dryer for 14 years and had got very used to using it. When it conked out I had to try and find another one and that was always going to be difficult without trying them all. I went for this one because of the many good reviews and it is a good dryer overall. My one disappointment is that the concentrator nozzle (and the diffuser too) cannot be used on the hottest setting. That may be the case for all dryers, I'm not sure, but it does make for a slower dry than I'm used to. Also, the lowest heat setting is pretty much cold and I'm not sure why as there's already a cold shot setting. But as I say, overall I'm happy with it. It's of medium weight I'd say, not that light but its manageable, and I love the red colour. The price is excellent.
