Sundarling Hot Glue Gun, Arts and Crafts Sewing Activities (White)

I have purchased this product several times in the past and, except for some difficulty with accidentally cutting the cord, these settling iambs have been absolutely wonderful.I did however get a defective unit and contacted the company and they immediately sent out a new replacement without require me to send out the defective unit. The defective unit temperature setting was fixed at the highest temperature, which is absurd when you’re using glue sticks that don’t require that except maybe around 159 to 160 to see. The only other objections that I have is the fact that the glue stick gotten comes with a Chinese or Korean, I’m not sure, major instructions with a complete layout of the glue gun and only cursory comments regarding the operation and cautions. This is totally unacceptable and I’m very frustrated with this. I have tried the special UPC code which does not help at all and leads me to another website run by the company and you guessed it, it is all in a foreign language. I have attempted to try to decipher it through different web browser’s blood, unless I’m brain challenge to, I have not been able to do it.Other than that I have Purchaser of these types of glucagon switch the quick look much the same. And they have been working very well of course except the defective unit which was immediately replaced.I just have one question that needs to be emphasized. If you are using a different type of glue stick that is much harder than the typical glue stick, you will need to crank up the temperature to a larger degree and this will result in the glue coming out extremely runny and extremely hot. This is very dangerous should any of it wind up on your skin or anywhere and you will be hit with pain that will take you to the moon.Other than that I find the glue stick to be very well but I wish it had a quicker heat up time. I realize there are other models that are triple and quadruple times Expense as this one and unfortunately I don’t have deep pockets so I will suffice to just wait for it to heat up which takes maybe five or 10 minutes. All in all I think it is an excellent glue gun for any kind of DIY projects and for any kind of work that needs to be temporarily glued in order to assemble it and then glue it with permanent glue.This is a terrific glue gun for the price! I purchased this particular glue gun as it was slightly cheaper than others offered on Amazon that appeared to be identical in design. The gun seems to be well made has a "ready light" , varying temperature range, built in stand and a small nozzle opening [about 1/8"] which is what I was looking for. So why only 3 stars? If I could read Chinese I might have gone 5 stars! However, there is no instruction booklet, only a vague "how to" paragraph plus the usual "cautions" [i.e. the gun and glue gets hot! ya think!] on the package .... 95% of which is in Chinese! Even the temperature setting range is in, you guessed it...Chinese!Give me a break! If your exporting items around the world, you would think companies would have enough sense to insure that all details on the packaging were in the language of the countries they are exporting to!

Quality good, but temp knob poorly designed

Seems ok so far but I thought it came with extra tips??? Maybe I read wrong or am thinkn of another one I was looking at.

the plastic case this came in was torn up and it is made out of cheap plastic and does not come with glue sticks and it also uses a different size stick than the common glue gun but the product is as described and works fine

It feels cheaply made. The picture makes you think you are getting some glue sticks with it but you aren't. I can't even try it out. It comes from China and the package is all written in Chinese.

It was noted as 100 watts, but it does not seem to be because it could not melt the glue fast enough. I should have bought a higher wattage. Otherwise the product work just fine.

I am returning this glue gun. I could not get it to work at all. It ate two long glue sticks and I could never get the glue to come out of the nozzle. It is cheap construction and felt very cheap. Extremely disappointed as I really wanted to get a glue gun that has a no drip nozzle. I will not buy anything from this supplier again. Also, all of the packaging was in Chinese which was disappointing.
