The screen on the product stopped working after 3 months, and aerogarden is refusing to honour the 1 year warranty, this is the reason they gave. “We currently only offer warranty for USA and Canada. Unfortunately if purchased and brought to another country the warranty is voided.” If you don’t live in the USA, don’t buy this product.

Started harvesting a bit of the herbs by week 4! Although the thyme, like I had seen in pervious reviews, did not grow at all. However, all the other plants are healthy and grow pretty fast. I got it as a gift for your girlfriend because she was talking about wanting to grow her own herbs and veggies so it's a perfect plant starter/pot because the pods are easy to take out and move to another pot or you can just leave them in a cut a few leaves off every now and then. The light is very bright but if you've got it around in a corner somewhere on the kitchen counter like I do it shouldn't be a problem. I like that the the reminders for food and water don't make any noise but turn the buttons to a flashing red so you easily know when more is needed. Haven't tried to plant anything other than the pods that came with it because I wanted to make sure it was going to work first since we have never tried to grow plants before but eventually I plan on buying their grow your own pods and planting different herbs to use in the kitchen. Overall it's an amazing planter and I would recommend getting this for people who want to get into gardening because like I said you can grow them in the here and easily transfer them to another pot and you can do that as many times as you want! It's also not as big as I expected but it's also not too small and I think it's the perfect size to leave them in if you are going to continuously cut some leaves and stems off otherwise it will obviously eventually outgrow the pot.

I️ gave this as a gift for a plant lover and she absolutely loved it! It is so easy to grow plants and honestly hard to mess this up. The color was so cute and this version was the perfect size for her counter.

Herbs will grow like weeds. If you love fresh herbs, you will love this product. I will be using for cherry tomatoes! Fantastic little hobbie...

This aero garden is very easy to use and comes with everything you need to get started out of the box. The unit appears to be constructed well. The pump and lights operate automatically so you just need to add plant food every other week and make sure it stays full with water. I've been adding about a cup of water every other week. 5 of the 6 starter pods it came with germinated and are growing well.The only disappointment with the unit is my electric bill is $20.00 higher than normal. This unit is the only variable which has changed in my household so all eyes are pointing here. Seems like a very inefficient way to get fresh herbs. But it's a neat novelty.If it wasn't for the excessive energy usage this product would get 5 stars.

Grows herbs exactly as stated. I’ve pruned the basil and dill several times and the fresh herbs are great in my recipes. Next purchase will be the lettuce collection.
