First the bad news: I timed a light and did not last at 100% for 12 hours. Last 3 hours or so it dropped off a lot. Still visible but at full strength I could read by it and last few hours would be very hard to read by in dark. The claim was full strength for at least 12 hours. Dinged 1 star for that.The rest is good news: Solid make, no leaks. Very good light at full strength. I'd say the first 9 hours was very good and for what I wanted it for, emergency lighting, would be fine for it. The included string was ok. Definitely strong enough to attach the light with no fear of strangling as it is stretchy plastic but a lot of cheaper version had nothing at all.The cost in my opinion was very good deal for what we got.

THESE are by far"THE BEST GLOW STICK" have ever used. Lasted 28 hrs, granted, by last 12 hrs very faint light...but if in situation WITH NO LIGHTS, still very helpful. Otherwise, normal brightness is about 12-18 hrs!Than hours down to 40% & finally 5-8% at the last 5-8 hrs....Again that's normal. Using these in emergency situations, making location in cave exploring, camping, etc...Best ever used, & comes with wire to tie around neck, on objects, etc as well as end has a hook.Well definitely keep ordering. Word of warning, check every stick for any leaks and any problem, just because the outer bag looks fine, the individual bag the stick comes in, are sometimes broken and the stick worthless.My sailboat, I have a disaster "go bag" that in the event of having to abandon ship, I have the glow sticks for light at night.I was checking the status of the bag, expiration dates, etc.. when I noticed a jacket with gunk on it. I traced it down to several of these sticks, had been broken and the bag ruptured.I contact the seller and was basically told, that was sold 5 months ago, and we only warranty for 30 days.Not something like "Gosh, I am so sorry that happened to you" or anything human like that, just, that was sold back in February and the 30 day warranty expired.They didn't even a suggestion on how to wash this gunk out of the emergency clothing.

These glow sticks are heavy duty, and lasted well beyond 24 hours. I still kept the old ones in our tent each night, all of them still had a glow after 48-72 hours! Best glow stick buy EVER!

Purchased these items for “goodie bags” cause I wanted a trinket more functional than junk. Hopefully they will do the job whenever needed. GUESTS thought they were pretty cool, too! I recommend cause it's more purposeful than a candy bar!

Great product, long lasting light source for a wide variety of uses. I keep some in the house for blackouts, I also put some with my camping equipment just in case.

Good chem lights, individually packaged too. Will be using them for Search and Rescue for night calls, and keeping them in the car as an alternative to flares for marking a position.

Did 100mi kayak race on the Sac river this weekend. Didn’t use them, but must have them for the event as a safety precaution. Would buy again.

Tried these out today. The Blue sticks are very bright for the first 4 hours. After that they would still glow but using them to navigate would be hard. Would be good for trail marking at night in the Bush. For the price not a bad buy.

majority worked pretty good...one only lasted cpl hrs...but next one lasted about 18 hrs !!...so pretty satisfied

You need this to complete your emergency bag! I chose this one is because of the grade of the product. I bet it's going to be bright in dark night!
