It's easy and fun to grow your own garlic, and home grown garlic brings a whole new level of flavor. Grows up to 24" in height, and harvested garlic can be stored for winter use. When the leaves turn brown it is time to harvest. Carefully lift mature garlic bulbs out of the ground and allow to dry in the sun for several days. This gives the outer skin a chance to cure.
