The adjustable string is amazing! This is the first bonnet ever to stay on my daughters head all night. This is after years of trying diff things finally found the one!

First, for anyone who complains that this is polyester: There is no "natural" satin material. And I don't know about the part of the product description that reads "This satin hood is not only suitable for sleeping, but you can also wear it to wash your face, make up or take a bath, or even do housework. It is a good helper. " LOLHere is what I have from my experience sleeping on this -PROS:--The fabric is extremely soft and non-irritating.--Holds my twists or curls in place overnight without flattening them.CONS:--This is almost TOO large. I find myself arranging it so that the bulk fits in the back. (You can scoot the edges down the string to do this.)--The double fabric really seems unnecessary. In a way, it makes the cap less wearable & comfortable.-- The buckle to secure the string can be problematic if you turn in your sleep and lay on it. It will hurt.Even though there are more negatives listed than positives, I am giving this 4.5 stars for the price & softness. To be honest, though, I will probably look for a simpler, single-layer cap for regular use. I can save this one for when I travel.

As someone who tries sleeping with this, it does get very hot sometimes borderline uncomfortable to where I have to take it off. If your not using it for sleep it's still a great bonnet

The only bonnet that stays on all night for me. Plus it's made with good materials. I recommend it
