Best ceiling fan I ever installed.
What I like. No out of balance shake at all! Completely quiet motor at all speeds. Install was super easy for 1 person. The ceiling mounting bracket installs first and it is designed to hold the motor in place with openings to finish the wiring. I've done other fans that have a cable to dangle the motor while connecting the wiring then stuff all the wires into the box while trying to screw the motor to ceiling. Takes a helper for that style. It came with standard base LED light bulbs which I really like. Not the candle type with tiny base. The light are bright and are a better than the old replaced model with 4 bulbs vs 3 bulbs now. I have separate switches for lights and fan. The bulbs dim to any level I choose. The fan switch is either on or off. I installed the fan pull chain to change fan speeds when needed. I did not install the long chain for the light because the wall switch will do that. One install tip. The main celling bracket will control which direction the Hunter logo on the fan will face. Had I know that I would have turned it 90 degrees so it would have faced the entrance to the room. Not a real big deal because the fan looks so good. The hardest part was the pre install of the rubber grommets into the fan blades. That took time and forcing them would crack the rubber. That didn't seem to matter once it was screwed to the arm but its something to be aware of. There is an extra grommet and screws should you loose or damage one. Not hard, just time consuming. I recommend this fan!

Unusual assembly
The fan operates well and looks great. However, having to put the blades on BEFORE the light kit is installed is going to make repainting my ceiling more problematic, insofar as I would have to disconnect the light in order to remove the blades. The reason is that the fan brackets where they attach to the motor are not accessible while the light kit is connected. This differs from other fans where the blades can be removed independently while retaining a functional light fixture. Knowing what I know now, I would not buy it again.

Beautiful Fan!
This Hunter fan us very pretty and the light shades are attractive. The 3 LED lights are blindingly bright so I just unscrew 2 of them as one is enough most of the time. The brushed nickel is beautiful. My old one was polished brass and nowhere near as nice. I love the weighted pull chains that have a light bulb symbol etched into the one for the lights and a fan symbol etched into the one for the fan so you don't constantly pull the wrong one, which I tend to do. My only complaint (and it's a small one) is that the wood grain on the blades is almost the same dark tone on both sides. I'm using the Medium Oak side, which is quite dark, but still lighter than the other side. I wish the other side was a lighter oak. Either way, I think the fan is very classy looking, it runs totally silent and smooth and lives up to the Hunter name in quality.

I love this thing.
Easy to install, when you know what you are doing. I love the amount of air it moves… and, it’s BRIGHT! I love it!

The ONLY brand to consider
I have tried other brands in the past and I can say there's nothing better than Hunter. For my money this brand and model is the best. Hunter is the most quiet and delivers the best air flow.
