Flexible, but tips are fragile (Detailed review included)
So, I'm a professional installer and was looking for an alternative to the GreenLee traditional fish poles most of us probably use all the time.A note on flexibility: Depending on your application, these might be great or might not be. Be sure what you need them for. Not all fish poles do the same tasks. These are more flexible (read maybe as flimsy) so if you're trying to do rafter bounces for all 33 feet, they're going to frustrate you. For 12-15' they're fine for open rafter runs. Longer and they're going to drift on you worse than the more rigid poles do. However, this makes them GREAT for cable tray lays. We're running in finished cable tray and being able to push 30+ feet cuts our ladder climbs by 60%. We're pushing them down a flat basket tray so it's fine. If you need a more "firm" pole, get something like a GreenLee from Lowe's or Home Depot. Those are thicker and better for long periods of open air runs. (You can point those 12-15" across the air and hope to hit the hole in the wall. You'll never get that distance out of these across open air, but they're not designed for that.)Pros:* There are 33' of them, ten poles plus the noodle pole, plus the small angle adapter and tons of accessories.* The poles themselves are very flexible. No, I haven't tried bending them past 90 degrees, but if you're doing that, you're using the wrong tool. No fish pole is meant for that. That's what fish tapes are for...* They clean up easy. Nothing irks me more than to see my poles covered in tape remnants, but these are fairly easy to keep clean.Cons:* I only have one. The tips are brass. Major flaw. Some others commented on this and now that I've experienced it myself I'll have to agree with them. Most poles have aluminum or steel tips. When they're subjected to strain, they tend to bend and flex a little. Brass doesn't flex. It snaps off. End of story. I was pushing 5' through open air and hit something solid. I "tapped" it against the surface a couple times to determine what I was hitting - gas pipe, HVAC system, etc. It was an HVAC unit. With only moderate pressure, the tip simply snapped clean off.The small diameter of the tips plus the short thread length make them very vulnerable to untwisting on their own as you fish them. If you bump them in the cable tray or bounce them on the rafters, they are untwisting themselves way more than I'm used to seeing in other brands. These are twice as expensive as GreenLee poles, but they are twice as long. However the first job and 1.5 days of use have seen three of the ten poles snap off from the male end. That's less performance than I was expecting out of a $60 pair of poles. I'm going to use them until they're too short to be of use and then try something else next time.If they'd switch out the brass tips and double the thread length on the connections, I think they'd have a great product. The photos below show the poles. The first photo shows where 3 are already broken and one I'd already thrown away. The second photos shows where instead of snapping a thread, the entire brass end just pulled off the pole. We're not using these for massively heavy pulls - just one access control cable, or sometimes 3-5 Cat6 cables. This shouldn't be happening. The third photo compares the tips on these with other common brands (Klein on top, Greenlee middle, and this one bottom).

Ok for small tasks...
I ordered this kit to run some speaker wires down inside the wall from the attic where I was mounting some in-ceiling Atmos speakers. I did have some issues with it but admit I'm not a professional "wire-noodler". It got stuck at one point and the end snapped off, sending 1 and a half rods and an attachment into "middle of the wall oblivion" but I was able to muddle through with a different end. Also, the flashlight attachment is wonky and wouldn't work right. I would surmise it is not strong enough for heavier cables and pro use but accomplished my task. To note, when I answered a follow-up email from the seller inquiring about my experience, they promptly replaced all the broken pieces and some extra so support was great.

Works great, but not as sturdy as I had hoped
I've been using it to pull Cat6 across the attics for the security cameras. I was able to get two cables down so far, 3 more to go. When it works, it's great! It's good for occasional use or one-offs, but I don't think it's sturdy enough for professional use. I had one of the regular rods break where it screwed into the thinner (more flexible) rod, rendering both of them useless. The bullet end also fell out of the end of the thinner rod and is lost somewhere inside the wall. I'm gonna need to replace them eventually, but at least wrapping the cat6 with electrical tape on the end of the rod is fairly effective.Despite all that, I don't regret the purchase, considering once the project is over I'll probably never need it again.

Was extremely useful running Cat5e cable
The attachments on this really make the product. Unless you are a pro who does this all the time, you don't really know what attachment is going to work for you. I had to run wires in a wall with faced fiberglass insulation in it. I was having trouble getting behind the facing vs the wire going into the insulation. I ended up using the flashlight attachment from the wall hole and pushing it up to the ceiling/attic. I couldn't thread it through the attic hole, but the light was enough to see what was going on in the wall and to push the facing paper back. I then inserted some romex from the attic to hold the facing paper back, and was able to fish the cable down no problem.

right tool for the job and many more.
buy it! seriously... it saved me. found myself having lost my pull wire to boat console. then... got a hanger stuck trying to fish the transducer cable... I picked this type because of 2 main reason: 1) you have access to both sides of the stick. 2) the LED attachment. working with no view into the rear channel (in front of motor/transom, I had no way to see if I was even getting close with the hanger. the LED was visible even looking from behind and thru battery well. used pinchers to reach in and grab at the light. booya!!! a tool I believe every house should have. lots of other uses. I'd buy this 3 times over now knowing the value.

Perfect size for imperfect spaces.
Just what I needed. The long reel style wire noodles are a lot to work with in a confined space. This product allows me to work with 6" to 2' of space(under houses) easily without the hassle of dragging a reel with me. I should have bought this sooner! The attachments are perfect for unforeseen scenarios. All of you out in the construction world know what I'm talking about!

Attachments and rods are very versitile
Bought it two days ago and got a chance to use it to run a AC compressor control wire (18 gauge pair) through the attic and down a wall following the existing (shorted) wire. I've used other wire fishing products before, but really have not had good success until now; they were all clumsy to work with. This product is great! The attachments included are very useful and the rods are flexible yet rigid to feed through tight spaces. The yellow rods also make it easy to spot. I am extremely satisfied with the results.
