Slick wooden stairs are NOT friendly for pups with hairy paws or humans wearing socks. After one too many falls and bruises, we ordered these and they’ve been great.Each tread has rubber backing that is anti-slip, but not sticky. Each one sits like a little non-slip bathroom mat on its individual step. They occasionally need to be straightened up, as they don’t adhere to the step (our preference!), but that’s super easy! They looks great and have made us all feel better about traversing up and down the stairs! Even the dog is glad to have them!We bought the matching landing area mat as well!

Pattern a bit different in real life. Almost a bit of sparkle to the yarn. Edges not cut square on any of the treads I received. Many random yarn ends and loops that needed cut.The edging is not even, some have lumps of extra thread.Not as soft as expected. It's rug yarn, so softness is not the most important thing.No instructions but pretty self explanatory. Add tape to stair side of tread. I placed one big long piece of tape on the long edges. I set up 12 steps in 10 minutes. Holding up so far, but plenty of extra tape should it be needed.We have 3 cats, 1 beagle sized dog, and the two of us. Will update if tape keeps failing or if catastrophic failure occurs.Mostly worth the money. A bit pricey considering all the above flaws.

Would have given this company 5 stars, but some of the treads are not square at the ends giving an uneven look when you put them on the steps.I have seen this on other reviews, so I’m thinking that the company should try to fix the problem.I liked the pattern. Haven’t installed them yet, so I can’t give a review about the double sided tape.

I chose to spend a little more money on these because I wanted our stairway to be protected and look nice. The quality of the materials is fine but each carpet rectangle is a a little bit of a different size and the sides aren't straight so when you put them down on the stairs they look uneven. Also, I ordered 3 boxes to cover all of our stairs and they look like they were each a different color and from a different dye lot. I would not purchase again. I ended up using them just to have something to protect the stairs until we find something better.

Like the overall finished look, but some of the carpet patterns were slightly off center. They also do not come with adhesive, had to use own carpet tape. Were easy to install.

The box appeared to have been heavily taped- indicating it was previously opened. When I got the rugs out, they were full of dog hair and grass / dirt. There were no instructions. The roll of tape had so much dirt and human hair stuck to it. I needed these for the holiday weekend and so i put them up anyways. The product was ok, just disappointed they didn’t come in new. Gross!!** Installation was easy and pretty quick. Quality of the rugs feels nice under your feet. Much more comfortable for us and pets to go up and down the stairs.

With my dogs being on the older side and having wood flooring, they were a bit timid going up and down. The carpets are decent. As some other reviews mentioned, not all threads are perfectly rectangular. I'd also like to highlight, if you want to remove the threads for washing etc, DON'T use the tape provided. Does a great job at holding the carpets in place but next to impossible to remove from the floor if needed.

They look fine but only one complaint, they are not perfectly square. At times this drives me up the wall, but to be fair I notice little things like that about everything being a construction worker. The wife didn’t see it until I laid a square beside one.

I ordered 2 packs of 7. So far I installed 5 pcs and none of them has square corners. Cherry on the top - one is much darker . Interesting how this stuff got good reviews ...

The description states it comes with 13 pieces, however I only received 7. Not happy

Only came with 7 and not 13 as advertised not happy.
