The Far Side® 2022 Off-The-Wall Calendar

UPDATE!! I'm an idiot! I was trying the stand wrong, it works fine.Original review: Many of my co-workers didn't know The Far Side, so I thought I'd fix that problem with a desk calendar. The comics are great, classic Larson, and excellent print quality. My co-workers now get to enjoy The Far Side, even if I do have to explain a few.The problem is that stand is absolute crap! Flimsy plastic that won't stay in place. The calendar keeps falling down. These used be made with a solid plastic where the stand piece snapped in, not anymore. Totally useless stand. I ended having to position our desk phone (which we NEVER use) and the PC to hold the calendar in place. The stand frustration is the only reason for the 2 missing stars.

I have a wall calander and about 5 digital ways of keeping track of dates and appointments. I bought this item because I am a fan of the far side comics and have been for as long as I can remember. an off the wall calendar is not great for scheduling, but it is greatly entertaining. also, I use the removed daily sheets as note paper, reminders, stuff like that. Gary Larson's retirment status is always a litle nebulous, but I feel like I haven't seen most of the comics on this calendar so far (end of april). I have owned various far side collections and read the comic daily when newspapers were still a thing. it is possible that I am seeing recycled cartoons and just not remembering it, but they at least seem new to me (once again, I don't know if larson has done any work in the last 15 years, but even if I have seen these comics before, I don't remember them and still get a chuckle six times a week

Clever, twisted, and very original humor that leaves you laughing out loud or sometimes scratching your head. Every once in a while, my husband has to explain one to me... He also has clever, twisted, and original humor!

I love Gary Larson. His sense of humor can’t be matched.

These cartoons have always brought a smile to my face each day and never grow old. Make great gifts and always get used for those that are hard to buy for Christmas.

The Far Side® 2022 Off-The-Wall Calendar makes a great gift. This years is a bit of a let down so far though. It is almost the end of February and there have only been a couple of funny ones in the days of Jan/Feb. Rather disappointed in that. One year when I got this there were lots and lots of funny ones, this years seems to be mostly the ho hum ones, or mildly interesting ones. Hoping the put some of the funny ones in the days coming up.

This calendar was a real disappointment !!!!!!!I expected more from FAR SIDE !!!!!!!!!It's not very humorous at all !!!!!!!!!SAVE YOUR MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the late 80s and 90s are used to get this every Christmas. And at one point they stopped making them. I’m delighted that they started printing them again so I can give them to my kids. I have to explain with some of the jokes mean as they are not culturally relevant, so it’s a bit of an education for them and stretching of the mind for me. And we all get good laughs

I have been a fan of Gary Larson for years. He never disappoints. I always look forward to the daily giggle/groan/laugh when I flip the page. Highly recommend

Disliked the price considering it was purchased November and it was a 22 calendar. My fault for assuming

Bought as a Christmas present for my son. He loves it! Next year I'll be ordering one for me, too!

Deceiving to find all prints in black and white, while the full-color cover makes one believe prints will also be in color. Also Gary does 2x1 on weekends, to "save" himself 52 vignettes (he skips Sundays!!!)
