I ordered the seat covers to cover two dining room chairs with three inch seat cushions covered in vinyl which had become split and unsightly. The first seat cover went on fairly easily. There were four elastic straps on each side of the seat cover with a male or female plastic connector sewn to the end of each strap. After stretching the seat cover over and around the top of the seat cushion, you connect the straps beneath the seat cushion by connecting each male connector to each female connector on the opposite side. This holds the seat cover to the seat cushion or seat. In my case, after covering the seat cushion with the seat cover, I had to then reattach the seat cushion to my chair using screws.I did have a problem when I installed the second seat cover. When I finished stretching the seat cover over and around the second seat cushion, the male and female connectors sewn on to the end of the elastic straps did not match up properly beneath the seat cushion. There was a male connector on one side and a male connector on the opposite side. There was also a female connector on one side and a female connector on the opposite side. The plastic connectors were not removeable from their straps because they were sewn on. There was an error made when this seat cover was manufactured. So I had to do what Macgyver would have done. Find a workaround. I used plastic zip ties to connect the male connectors together and the female connectors together. Then I reattached the covered seat cushion to the chair. It took a little longer but it worked and it still looks good. So lets figure this out. I purchased two seat covers. One was manufactured correctly, the second one wasn't. That's a 50% error rate. I do like the idea of using connectors though. It seems more professional. I saw some seat covers on Amazon that the straps have no connectors. You just tie the straps together like shoelaces.

These are great, they look 99% better than without. A couple of points, the best installation on these covers is to remove the seat from the chair, and stretch the cover so that the seam does not show. This is a bit tricky to do, as that seam keeps creeping out and by the time you have the screws tight, you see it. I do not know why they even need a seam, but unless you keep an eye on it, it can show and ruins any "new look" you achieved. I would have like to have done this with a nicer material, the material used is ok, it does a nice job, but, more choices would have been preferrable. They are not waterproof, these are cosmetic, they do at great job at that, but, they are not seat protectors. There are products that protect chairs and there are products that fit over chairs without removing the seats. These are perfect for making old chairs look new, but, if your going for protection or an easy washable item, this is not that product. I love it for my 0 skill level at this type of thing.

As a mom of three small children, I’ve been debating reupholstering the dining room chairs… or just waiting until my kids are grown and moved out to have anything nice. I am so happy that I found these. It is the best solution for our home. They look elegant! They are machine washable! And most importantly, I’m not going to kick myself for paying for the reupholstery just to have the littles drop spaghetti, ice cream, etc on a more expensive solution. Easy to put on… and now I can sit back and feel like I have nice things again!

I love these! In less than a half hour, I recovered 4 dining room chairs. I just had to unscrew the seat from the chair frame and then slip the covers over the seat. There are two stretchy straps that clip closed to keep the cover secure. Might need to staple around the bottom edges to prevent slippage (the covers were a tad big for my chairs, but overall I am very pleased and highly recommend these. If you don't know how or don't have time to sew a new cover, these are your answer! Haven't had to clean them yet, as I just got them yesterday and installed them today.

Our dining room chairs are black faux leather and over time they had split and were looking horrible. My first instinct was to purchase fabric and cover them. However, I saw these and figured I would try them first. They were easy to install and the chairs look brand new. No one would guess they are covers.

It took me 25 minutes to get them all put on my cleaned up chair cushions. They fit really well. I screwed the chair back on and it looks wonderful. Definitely a lot cheaper than reupholstering your chairs.

I wasn't sure what to expect but hoped for the best. Needed something to cover chairs that were really stained from family gatherings over the years and were impossible to clean. I'd placed cloth napkins on the seats to cover the chairs, but they weren't fitted so needed adjusting from time to time. I considered having them reupholstered, but wasn't sure where to do that, so I found these. The covers were very easy to install. I did have to unscrew the seat pads to put the covers on, but it wasn't a big deal. The covers look great on the chairs. I am extremely pleased with the purchase from the cost, the quality (so far) and the simple installation. I'm even thinking of getting other colors/patterns, just in case I want to change the look from time to time!
