MAGORUI Pocket Mag Holder, Magnetic in The Pocket Mag Holder, Heavy Duty Mag Holder for Pocket Standard Clip, 9mm .40 S&W

I have carried this off and on for about 3wks. This is my first magnetic pocket mag carrier. In the past I have just thrown a spare mag in my front or rear pocket, which worked just fine. This carrier is an improvement over just pocket carry. It does keep the magazine in place better and makes for an easier mag draw. I used it in both front and rear pocket, it can be a little harder to clip in place on the back pocket but became easier after time. This carrier works fairly well with single stack, double stack, metal and mags with a plastic outer layer. I did notice that the plastic coated mags were easier to remove from the pocket than the all metal mags. The clip seems to be fairly sturdy, I have noticed that the retention of the clip has become looser over time. I believe this is from carrying in pants that are made of thicker material, like jeans vs khakis (the thicker Jean material must have stretched out the clip). I did have a few times once the clip was stretched out from the different clothing thickness, where the clip came out of my pocket along with the magazine. This issue only happened with metal magazines, I believe it’s because the magnet has a stronger hold on the all metal mag vs the plastic coated. That being said this magnetic mag carrier seems to be a decent option for carrying a spare mag.

The product works but the little plastic tab under the clip came off after only 1 day of usage.Update: product doesn’t work. After the plastic tab came off, the clip is now too weak to hold on the pocket, if you go to take the mag out the entire thing comes out with it.

Used it to carry a glock magazine filled with Federal HST. Thought the OEM Polymer case of the magazine would be an issue but the magnet used is strong enough to catch on to the steel casing. You can slide the magazine up and down as much as you want so you can opt between easy to access and easy to conceal depending on your needs.The clip is very strong and after doing a somersault, it stayed in my pocket even with the magazine attached.The little wings on the sides of the holder stops your magazine from shifting around in your pocket.This is a good idea to have if you don't want to carry a magazine IWB (for a half chubby guy like me, I hate carrying spare magazines on my hip, I can somewhat tolerate appendix) but still have it easy to access just in case the need ever arises.I really like it and I think you will too.

I highly recommend this for conceal carrier who needs a descrete mag carrier. Perfect for in the pocket carry. Way better than just throwing a mag in your pocket. Faster reloads. Comfortable. Strong magnet. String clip. High quality for the price. This is just as good as the high dollar Neomag brand ones. Just go ahead and buy! Worth it!

Feels good and seems to work well. It's a bit large for 9/40 mags. I am able to use it with my 45, 1911 mags as well. Will update my review after further use.

Ordered one to see how it went as the name brand version is quite a bit more, which I also have. The first one has performed fine. So I ordered another, that one was useless, clip bent first attempt to use it, didn't spring back at all, no hold to it at all, rendering the clip useless, therefore the product useless.So, I went one for two, at that price it puts you back into the name brand territory for guaranteed quality without any hassle.

While the magnet is very strong, thats about the only thing good about. The pocket clip is basically useless, as the whole thing pulls out of your pocket when you try to remove the mag. Would NOT recommend.

The pocket retainer/holder sponge material behind the actual clip came off after a week of normal use. I would "love" the clip if it wasn't for that one defect. Without that piece, the entire thing doesn't retain when grabbing the magazine from my pocket.
