Van HeusenMen's Short Sleeve Dress Shirt Regular Fit Poplin Solid
B**Y
Please offer short sleeves in a slim fit.
It's a great shirt, after it's altered. Manufacturers seem to all think that a guy who doesn't want to be strangled by his collar and orders a larger neck size, must be bigger everywhere else. And good luck trying to find a short sleeve slim/tailored fit online! So I bought this one for my husband and took it in on the sides. Fortunately the side seams were not French-seamed so it was easy to do. And why, oh why, are men's dress shirts sold all tightly packaged with multiple pieces of cardboard and pins?? It totally prevents trying it on for size without spending ten minutes undoing it all... making it impossible to re-package if you need to return it. Women sure wouldn't put up with this.

Wide enough for two!
Here I thought I found the short sleeve version of the same dress shirts I wear to work in winter months, but unfortunately not all is as advertised. Regular fit, as I see this is called, should really be called 'Big enough for two' because when putting this on I could wrap one side directly in the middle of my side on both sides at once. When buttoned, the sleeves fell about three inches below my elbow just because of how wide the shirt was. The fitting was ludicrous, and the icing on the cake? The description has a similar 'fitted' shirt by the same brand..... but its long sleeve, so not really comparable.I wanted to stick with Van Heusen since their fitted dress shirts are PERFECT, but..... I guess I have to find another brand. Sad to have to return these.

Perfect. My nervous system has become happy.
I went to multiple clothing stores, spent two or three hours of my time, and could not find this shirt. Short sleeve, not buttons collar, Van Heusen, and white. I had an awakening...no more retail stores. It took me 5 minutes to find what I wanted on Amazon. The price was cheaper than the stores and I received my shirt within one week and free shipping.

Just wanted to moan
It's a decent shirt. I work in an office where they keep the heat up really high, and I wear these because it's a bit more comfortable. Decent fabric, slightly loose fit but not overly so.My complaint is about the needles they package these with. I'm impressed they can do what they do with these needles because it's really hard to get them out. Maybe it's just me but I had a hard time working out how to open the shirt up due to one hidden needle. I could feel it but I couldn't find it. End result was a pull in the fabric on one sleeve. Amazon doesn't seem to allow photos at the moment or I would show you. Almost an inch long highly noticeable pull on the sleeve. It's not necessary to use these needles. I have bought shirts with paperclips holding the folds together.

Beautiful Comfortable Dress Shirt
I ordered two of these shirts, different colors. Van Heusan makes high quality products. These shirts are no exception to that. Great price and quick delivery from Amazon Prime. You men know that fastening that top button to wear a tie on most shirts is difficult. I went up one half size on the neck from 17-1/2 to an 18. Sunday when I dressed for church, I left the the top 3 buttons unfastened and then easily fastened the top collar button, then fastened the remaining 2 buttons. Magic. Easy. I will be ordering more of these shirts.

Nice short-sleeve dress shirt..
One of my favorite shirts is an old Van Heusen short-sleeve button-down dress shirt in black with grey pinstripes. Had trouble finding more short-sleeve shirts from them, but was excited to finally find this particular listing. Bought the same 16.5/large in medium grey and it's a very nice-looking and comfortable shirt. Fitment isn't quite the same, though. Seems a little tighter around the neck and much looser around the body. Almost the same fit as an extra-large. Sleeve length is good and chest fit is good, but the lower half of the shirt is too long and bells out when wearing it untucked (which is how I almost always wear my dress shirts). Overall, I still like the shirt, but the fit isn't anywhere near as nice as my old Van Heusen. I never wear slim-fit shirts, but I think I'll see if they make something similar in this style (honestly don't think 'slim-fit' was even a thing when I bought my old shirt probably 15 years ago!). I'll still keep this one to wear in the summer, since I usually wear looser XL shirts with shorts in the summer and L shirts with pants in the fall/winter.

A shirt that crinkles while you walk
The shirts are made with a quality of fabric just a little bit less equality than the average garbage bag. If you like shirts that Rattle and crinkle as you walk and hold in all your body heat and really show off your perspiration than this is the shirt for you.Say goodbye to natural fibers and comfort and a load of perspiration crinkling noises and possibly even some humiliation.Remember global warming is an issue and these shirts are made of petroleum I'm not kidding what do you think polyester is after all. Polyester is a petroleum product. Please do not try to put a shirt into your gas tank but you'll have to trust me on this one. So again if you want to increase the temperature of the Earth make crinkly sounds when you walk perspire and have all your heat held in while you're wearing a summer short sleeve shirt then again this shirt is definitely for you.

Wrinkle Free Shirt
First of all, I can not say it fits my neck because it is an 18.5 inch collar, the largest available for this shirt so I can not button it around my 19.5 inch neck. Why would I? I intend to wear an open collar and if it were available in that neck size the rest of the shirt would be gargantuan. It is loose but a fine fit for the warm days of summer on this six foot 240 pound frame [ 52 inch chest, 40 inch waist ]Be careful when unpacking, there are 8 pins with sharp points, many labels, and wrinkles. But of course there are wrinkles! Did you not see the label that stated "Wrinkle Free"? True. The wrinkles are free!

Way too big
Seems like a nice enough shirt... but it's HUGE.I'm about 5'10" and 180lbs, I ordered a 17" neck (probably could have gone with a 16.5).Tons of extra material around the waist, the sleeves almost go past my elbows, too wide in the shoulders, not tight enough under the arms.Looks like it's at least the size of an XL - I bought 3, had to return them.

It's pretty good
It's alright. It fits well except the collar is a bit tight. However I have a fairly large neck for my body size. It's hard for me to a find shirts where the collar fits properly without the rest of the shirt being horribly oversized. It's not wrinkle resistant, unfortunately. So you may need to iron or steam it on occasion. That's not a deal breaker, but I wish I had realized that before buying it. I don't regret buying it, but I'm not 100% satisfied either.

Great Shirt
Van Heusen seems to make a quality shirt. I bought this shirt to wear over the summer months. I am happy with the color being as represented and the fit is as expected as well. Good with a tie or without. I like the shirt and would buy again without hesitation.

Great shirt
Beautiful shirt. Beautiful colour. Nice quality. I like that the shirt is not too thick or heavy. Great for the summer. Beautiful collar fit. What I especially like about these shirts (this brand mark) is that it is not a slim fit. You get a large amount of material around the chest and waste so that you do not feel like you are suffocating. I am just so happy with these shirts.

Can't button neck and Sleeves too long.
Can't button neck, but all other buttons fit fine (shirt is roomy) and the sleeves are too long for a vertically challenged but wide gentleman. Buttonhole and fabric on neck definitely needs to come out further. Arthritis complicates this, but so does the need to breathe. Otherwise a nice shirt, that just can't button under a tie.
