Bolt Action Pen Stainless Steel Ballpoint Pen Compatible with Pilot G2 Refill for Business EDC Signature Color Black (TG205)

Very smooth action.

This all black, all metal ball point pen comes in a presentation box with a hard foam liner, I have seen better but this would be fine for a gift, I was happy to receive it for review!The metal core of the pen is hardened aluminium with a steel clip and mechanism for the bolt action, which is I think meant to put the user in the mind of a rifle.There is a very fine and sharp point at the top of the pen, the only thing I have ever seen like it is on the business end of an emergency window breaking device often found on public transport.I have not tested this but I am pretty certain a toughened sheet of glass like the side windows on a car would yield to this with little effort if applied properly.The action to extend and retract the nib is smooth and mesmerising, no wonder they say it can be used as a fidget toy, my partner has told me to stop messing about with it because it is getting on her nerves!The pen writes well, it is a very fine line, neat and dries fast.I dont think it would be much good if you were trying to get a carbon copy underneath though because only a light pressure is needed for the best results and speed of writing.The pen was under £15 at the time of review and I feel it is worth that for a good every day pen. This pen is absolutely solid. It's been run over by a coach and kept smiling.It's a good weight and has become my everyday carry.The ink cartridge it comes with is terrible, so order some proper Pilot refill with it and you've got a winner.

The pen is nit the same as the one in the advert.The one advertised has a monogrammed S.The one that arrived says SmootherPro.Disappointing

Can’t work out what the point is on the top of the pen. It’s a bit sharp so not very useable if you need it for your pocket.

The bolt action for controlling the ball point is very accurately made and the comfort when writing is superb.

This pen arrived simply packed and in perfect condition.The packaging is a bit naff and cheap, although the fitted foam interior does its job.The pen itself looks pretty good it has the advertised military style to it, and looks quite smart. However I much prefer the look of my usual Umis.Feel wise it's fairly well balanced, not too heavy but a bit heavier than I usually aim for.Something feels a bit off around the nib end of the pen, it doesn't feel particularly secure. Nothing drastic, but for the sake of honesty it doesn't feel as durable as I would like, especially from a brand new pen.It writes well . I do a lot of sketching but I don't think I will be using this for much art, it's not quite smooth enough.This sounds like I really don't like the pen! I do, there's nothing terribly wrong with it. I will certainly use it but mostly for quick notes etc rather than dedicated writing.Currently priced at just over £13.Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.

Nice and light, feels solid. Not used the glass breaker yet though. Just don't use it next to your ipad.

I've bought one in grey and one in black. Both pens are amazing, looks great and is comfortable to hold. I've put a piece of rubber grip from another pen that I cut to size on the bottom of the pens and it really helps with the best comfort feeling when writing with these beauties. If you are looking for a pen that is cheap, sturdy and looks amazing then I can recommend this pen.
