Great for swollen feet
I had a total foot reconstruction in December and after 3 months of no weight bearing in a cast and boot, my foot is still swollen. The dr said it would be a year before that would settle out. My normal 12b foot is now a 13 EEEE. So I went to a special prescription shoe store which put me into a $200 Hoka. But my foot kept walking on the outside of the foot and hurt like hades at the end of the day. These sketchers fit amazing. No 10 minute lace up procedure and I walk on the whole foot now. Now I am not sure why the difference in how I walk but this I know…putting them on and off is so much easier and softer on the walk and wallet too!Oh yeah. I have neuropathy pretty bad so that made matters worse. Sorry to be so detailed here with my foot issues. But I have been through so many shoes trying to walk again. If you have the same issues. Get these!!!

Maximum Comfort and Durable Design for Everyday Wear!
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)I recently purchased the Skechers Men's Afterburn M. Fit Strike On shoes, and I must say, they have completely changed my perspective on comfort and durability in everyday footwear. They have held up exceptionally well, showing minimal signs of wear and tear.Performance (4/5):In terms of performance, the Skechers Afterburn shoes have delivered consistent results. Nice Shoe, but...
These shoes fit me well, are very comfortable, support my feet well, as I am on my feet most of the day. My feet don't feel fatigued after wearing them all day. They stay closed, almost no shifting. Soles wear very well. Only problem is the seams on the uppers in the area of my big toes are blown out. These shoes were not tight, and I don't have bunions or anything that would cause that from my foot structure. They have been used by me going on 14 months, so I suppose I should see some sort of failure somewhere after wearing a pair of shoes that long in a rough work environment. These shoes have outlasted most other brands I have gotten, recently and are still in quite excellent shape except for the blowouts in the big toe area.

Great, comfortable shoe
I originally wasn't sure about these and started a return, but after wearing them around the house I changed my mind. Then began walking and hiking with them and glad I decided to keep them. They're actually very comfortable. I had always worn 10 Wide or Extra wide in other shoes and originally ordered these in 10 wide and they turned out to be too small and too wide. So I did what I should have done before ordering any shoe--I measured my foot on a Brannock device and found that I was actually a 10.5 D. So that's what I ordered and they actually fit and feel great. Great tread for stability and hiking. And I love the straps. I know that many people feel they can't get the shoe tight enough with straps, but I never had that problem--they are as tight at the end of the day as they were when I fastened them when I first put them on. And laces always came untied, even if double tied--a royal pain, especially if in the woods. The Skechers are not classified as an orthopedic shoe, so the insole is not removable. It is memory foam which feels great. Others have claimed it loses it's cushioning after time, but I figure I can just pop in a cheap pair of insoles and I'll be back in business.I highly recommend these shoes. If you prefer laces, the lace versions fit the same.UPDATE 1/19/2018: These shoes still feel great. Wear them every day. Memory foam still feels great. My instep is low and therefore my straps end up being too long when pulled to their appropriate tightness. This has resulted is very little of the hool & loop coming in contact. I have had to add hook material to the inside of the strap and extend loop material on the shoe. I used Goop (E6000--all their products are the same), which is an excellent glue in the rubber contact adhesive category. It can be messy though-- if you use it, don't over apply--just a thin coat on each surface and let dry before pressing in place. Alternately you could probably use epoxy or Duco cement--maybe even superglue. It would be too difficult to sew it on. Once set, it works great and they stay nice and tight.

Looks nice and comfortable
I have nothing negative to say about these shoes. They look nice and feel like Skechers, if you’ve liked other pairs of Skechers you will like these to.
