Perfect Fridge Water Filter for the Money
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the EcoBlueLife GE MWF filter. It's simple to install, provides clean water, and is affordable. I would recommend it to others with the same fridge model.

Just as good as original GE OEM filter
My water for the ice maker and drinking must come through a filter. I was unable to get one locally at a reasonable price to use, as my refrigerator is 19 years old.. So, I ordered this one. The first 36 hours I wasn't sure about it, as the water seemed to have a 'bite' but it is working just fine, ice cubes are fine, no after taste or problems. When I need to get another one, I will use this one again.

Perfect Find!
Had been buying GE Brand water filters from Lowe's for about 9 years at a cost of over $54 each (with tax). Never had a problem, so I was a bit hesitant to try an "off brand" water filter at less than half the price (even if it claimed to be compatible). I was pleasantly surprised. It was very easy to install, fit perfectly, and (to my knowledge) works just fine. Not really sure if it eliminates everything that the GE Brand filter did, but there is no detectable difference. Will continue to buy these filters at great savings.

Reorder of a satisfied customer.
This was a reorder. I've used two of these for the last 2 changes. Seem to work very well and last a long time. Lasted longer that the expensive GE filters I had been using. I assume they were just as effective. Certainly nothing noticeable. The sensing unit indicated a change was needed and I assume this is a result of flow issues in the filters. So it got the stuff out. I'll continue to use these.

Good water flow, good taste
These are definitely the best MWF Smartwater-compatible filters we have tried in our GE refrigerator. There is no unpleasant aftertaste and the water flow is good.
