These rubber snakes are pretty funny. We bought them as a partial experiment - our chickens had been flying over our fence into the garden and making an absolute mess of things. Every other method short of whacking the chickens was failing - they kept getting in and eating our seedlings. I remember once years ago putting a dead snake in the chicken run for them for protein and they FREAKED OUT! Remembering that, I figured maybe they are just really scared of snakes and these might be what I need to keep them out of our garden beds. Well, it's been a month and NO chickens in the beds! Pretty awesome. Hard to say about the durability - our heat / sun out here is pretty strong, so they might deteriorate over time. Hard to say, but if they do I would buy them again I think since they have already proven to be worth the small investment!

The snakes were scary, but not in the way I intended them to be. There was a sticky, slimy, film on the snakes that left residue on the box and I had a hard time getting the glue-like substance off my hands and nails. The snakes were melted together so that the small snakes were a misshapen brick of squishy material. The larger snakes were made of a more solid material, but the small snakes melted together and had deformities and holes where the larger snakes were pressed against them in the box. They were not usable. I am returning them.

These were wonderful accents for my trunk or treat! They were easy to add to my decor on the table! Definitely would buy again!

Laid on roof and ground to keep woodpeckers from targeting my wood siding. Fairly effective, so far!

They do not last in the weather elements for a long period of time. At least not what I used them for. Great price.
