This is how it really works, no bullshit.
For 12 bucks and free shipping, this thing is GREAT! One user said they had accuracy issues caused by it moving after firing...Maybe, if you are using a high-powered rifle that would shake it loose, but if you are, get something else. Why would you be using a tiny, lower power laser sight on something with that much range? This thing is for pistols. It's main feature is that it's small and light, not power or battery life. Also, I presume they were either mounting it wrong, not tightening it enough, nor doing anything to fix it more firmly in place. If you are going to be modding your firearms, be prepared for a bit of tinkering. Very few attachments are going to work perfectly out-of-box, just by virtue of all the different firearms out there they can be mounted on. Even "standard" rails vary in size by a few millimetres here or there depending on the manufacturer. Seriously, just a strip of electrical tape or two placed between the rail mount and attachment is usually enough to fix a "loose" fit, and you can't even see it. A drop of Elmer's glue can be broken loose easily enough, but can be used to hold a slipping screw or a wobbling laser tube seated where you tuned it when sighting. There were other complaints about brightness....Really? Something this small (which is it's main feature) isn't going to be blinding someone at 50 yards. It's made to be slim, light, and low-profile. That's the trade-off. Think critically about what you need the item to do, and if you need greater range you are going to have to sacrifice by getting a bigger and more powerful laser sight. If you are pistol shooting at a range or the back yard, it's fine and you will appreciate the light weight and small profile. Sure it won't be super bright at high-noon on a cloudless summer's day, but it's enough unless you have vision impairment. Finally, some genius complained about battery life...Yes, it's very small, and as such will have limited battery capacity. But it is NOWHERE near as bad as one guy was complaining. My guess is he put the wrong voltage of battery in it. It lasted me a whole afternoon of plinking. Be smart and pick up high-quality batteries. Get the SG3 version of LR41 button batteries. They last over 25% longer. No shit your crappy Chinese watch batteries didn't last very long, Einstein. And turn it off when you aren't using it. All that takes is the touch of a button. What I liked about this thing the most: If you mount it on the right-hand side of a pistol using a quad rail, the beam is nearly level with the bore of the gun. What this does is teach you to account for the drop of your weapon's projectile at all ranges. Mounting a laser sight beneath the bore and adjusting it to compensate at a certain yardage messes with your targeting outside of the precise range you are sighting it for, and you will end up developing a bad habit of shooting too high or low outside of your optimum sighted range. Just learn you're weapon's drop from flat, and the knowledge will end up rewarding you when you have to take a shot outside of or too close in for your comfort zone. I also liked that you can take the rail mount off of the laser and make it even slimmer. What I didn't like: Better keep all three of the allen wrenches it comes with! Damn thing needs 3 different sizes to work on the different screws and adjusters instead of a single standard size. I would also like more than a single clamp screw, but if you have a drill and a brain you can just make one. Part of the fun of firearms is tinkering with your toys, right? If you don't think so, then you shouldn't be modifying them, imo. Just buy a weapon off-the-shelf with an integrated laser or pay someone else to do it for you.

We were VERY HAPPILY surprised when we put the batteries in (doesn't come ...
We bought this for use for Indoor paintball. The cost led me and my son who play together to figure if it didn't work well, would not be a big loss of a mere 10$ each investment. We were VERY HAPPILY surprised when we put the batteries in (doesn't come with batteries, but for low cost of the laser, no issue with us) we tested them out on our markers and worked very well indoor and even in fairly bright light outdoor did pretty well too! There are no instructions for the line up adjustments that you use the smallest Allen key for but its easy. Once mounted the side hole adjusts left right angle, while top works the up down adjustment.Looks fairly durable, looks like it could handle a few paint shots, but likely not directly in the laser hole, which is small enough! lol! At this cost if we have to replace a couple times a year for paint damage, we certainly wont mind and next time order a few more!Arrived in half the time they quoted from China to Eastern Canada

Not good product, was happy with delivery time
This product came with bunk batteries, could not manage to get the thing to work, no instruction manual, I was happy with how quick it arrived though. If you can manage to get it to work right then it may be worth the price and time.

Looks cool but will not last.
For airsoft or a toy would be great. For lasting on a real firearm... not so much.Lasted 2 months. Afte replacing batteries it intermittently will turn on and off. conductove problem? It doesnt even get used as a cat toy now.

Fortunately once on
Just got it last night. There are apparently two models currently listed on Amazon, a short one and a long one. I ordered the short one. $12, was hard to say no.I'd say you get a lot for $12. It came with 3 Allen Wrenches (one for zero adjust, one for the mounting screw, and one for the picatiny rail attachment screws, used to remove it's included rail). The picatiny rail on top is held on by two screws - so I took it off, to make the unit even smaller. Putting it on the side rail of an AUG. It worked, but took a looking trickery, since the mounting screw is on the wrong side for mounting on an AUG, but I was able to get it on. Fortunately once on, you can leave it there. That was the point - I wanted something small enough I can just leave there. And the batteries are accessible via the front. I thought it was pretty lame that they didn't include batteries, but by luck, I had another device that used LR41's, which are a better version of AG3's.The button is kind of reversed, where what feels like on is actually off, and vice versa, but no big deal. The adjustments worked fine, I was able to zero it easily enough. The real question with cheap items like this are:1) How long do batteries last, and does it drain batteries even when not in use? (some cheap optics will)2) Does the mounting screw work loose easily? (usually they do on cheaper optics like this).3) Does it hold zero under recoil and just general use?4) Does it hold up in extended usage, or will it over-heat and shut-down/loose ass?We shall see - I'll update my review if any of those turn bad - but for $12, I'm pretty damned impressed. Just wish they sent batteries.

Non mantiene 'zero'
Carino e economico.
