Bad Girl: A Rockstar Romance (Wicked Book 2)

I've fallen for fictional rock stars before, but Haley is my favorite heroine in a rock star romance. If you like strong and smart female characters, you're in for a treat. Haley has mettle and determination like I've rarely seen in a romance heroine. She lusts after Jax and falls in love with him, but he doesn't become her entire life. She doesn't lose sight of her goals and what's important to her. I'm usually all about the romance, but I was just as engrossed in the rest of Haley's life as I was in her interactions with Jax. Her life was just as interesting to me as his, and I've never experienced that before in a rock star romance. Her complicated feelings about her father were especially well written, as were his about her. The author did a phenomenal job of making him more sympathetic without really softening him. That's a skill! I also liked the juxtaposition of the two father/daughter relationships in the story. It drove so much of the conflict and drama, and I love that the story doesn't rely on jealousy or the typical misunderstandings for that.This book also intensified the sexy times between Jax and Haley, and it was worth the wait. Jax can be positively wicked, and it was hot!Once again, the narrators did an excellent job of voicing these characters. I love Joe Arden, and Savannah Peachwood was great too. Her male voices were perfectly done as well, and she made Jax sound sexy. I'm very excited to hear the final book. These have all ended at a natural break in the story that leaves me feeling satisfied with each one. It's a great series!

I'll be honest, I have never been a fan of literary cliffhangers: a lot of authors use them to generate revenue rather than advance the plot, so how is this benefiting the poor readers? Luckily for us, Piper Lawson decided to take the high road with Bad Girl and gift her readers with a little gem that still needs to be continued in another book, but is SO WONDERFUL BY ITSELF, you almost don't care - almost.In Bad Girl, Haley and Jax come to terms with their budding relationship, and the what develops is beautiful, complex, very sensual and at times heart-breaking. Haley also finds out more about her father, Shannon Cross and his music production company, Wicked. In discovering more, she opens the door to learning more about his relationships not only with Jax, but also with her mother and herself as a child. As the second book in a trilogy, Bad Girl could not have been a better handcuff to keep a reader attached to this series....

Starting this series at 9:00 pm was probably not my best idea...Seriously, I stayed up way past my bedtime devouring every.single.word! I am obsessed with these two💙 Obsessed with this series...even though throughout this particular book I went between swooning all over Jax and wanting to junk punch him for being so stubborn. And that ending...AGAIN..I'm dead.My heart is broken && my husband took my kindle away at 3:00 am so I couldn't start book three😳 (don't judge me) My book hangover has a book hangover; and I'm feeling a little lost right now...I'll be counting down the minutes until I can leave work and start book three! This series is SO GOOD!

This book was another amazing book in this series. I really love how Piper has kept these books so real. They deal with more than just screaming fans and loose rock star hookers and hook-ups. I liked hearing about 'Wicked' the business part of the rock world. I loved the real interactions of the characters. I'm not sure if I love the skunk...but it was different and interesting in it's own way. Jax as always was fascinating. All that he goes through is hard to suffer through with him. The same goes for Haley. I loved when they finally were close enough to get together physically. I was also glad that was not formuliac. It was more real than most books I've read. Just like when she pushed him off when he was trying to perform a certain sexual act she wasn't used to. Hilarious and real! Wonderful read!!!

Piper Lawson's insight of her characters is brilliant! I loved this book as much as I loved Good Girl (Wicked Book 1)!What a story! In the continuing saga of Legendary Rock Star, Jax Jamison and college student, Haley Telfer, Bad Girl (Wicked Book 2) has all the ups, downs and twists you would expect from a complicated relationship. Haley wishes Jax would finally make up his mind about them, and Jax still holding onto a deep seated hatred and his guilt. As secrets are unveiled, things start to heat up between Haley and Jax.I thought the passion between Jax and Haley couldn’t get any hotter, OH MAN! I was soooo wrong! Their sexual encounters became absolutely combustible! Whew!Ms. Lawson has me on the precipice waiting for Wicked Girl (Wicked Book 3)!

Book 2 is an unpredictable continuation of book 1-Good Girl. Hope book three, Wicked Girl, ends the struggle in the relationship between the main characters since they can hardly move forward with their lives of they constantly find relationship demons to fight. This book is not a stand alone. It only makes sense if you've read book 1.

If I thought that this series could not get more addictive, more angsty, more unpredictable I was wrong! Did not see this one coming. Now off to find out what the final book in this series will deliver to me. Will it be the HEA these characters deserve or the end of a love they both want, need and deserve? I'm about to find out.....on to Wicked Girl! Fingers crossed!

Piper Lawson is an amazing writer with such a talent for making me feel every emotion! Book 2 had all the elements of plot twists, angst, hot scenes, laughs & of course soul-affirming love in all shapes! On to book 3...

The story itself is very good, but I am a little disappointed that it's a trilogy where it could have been completed within two books, maybe. The two books which I have read are fairly short when they conclude to go on to the next one.Jax and Haley are both interesting and lovable characters. There are strong feelings right through. Their pasts are traumatic in different ways and they both discover secrets. Those secrets are connected to the same person. Their relationship is moving forward in a promising way, but the impact caused by those secrets could have a detrimental effect. Can Jax overcome his bad feelings and look to the future? Can Haley abandon her new responsibilities to have what she most wants in her life? I am sure all will be revealed in the next installment.I have enjoyed this journey so far and have to find out how it all ends.

Whilst this is a good story, it’s so piecemeal it feels like a chapter, unfortunately this is where greedy authors and publishers think making money takes precedence over value for customers, creating one book and then splitting it and selling it of as a series is day light robbery.

Well book 📖 2 certainly dosent disappointment and sucks you straight in 😊and follows from book 📖 1 fluidly 👍🏻 The relationship between Jax and Hayley heats up and more secrets are revealed but if your hoping for a spoiler then tough you will just have to buy this awesome 😎 book 📖 😍

Absolutely loved this book Book one was free and was so great I had to have the next one.Now I really have to have book three

Just as good as the first book in the series, if not better, become lost in the sizzling attraction with the two leads. Can't recommend this book enough though as I've bought the third book too it should tell you I loved it!
