An interesting ancient Greek story with great illustrations. If you are into graphic novels you will enjoy this book.
I have always been interested in Greek Mythology. Even though I had read the story of Theseus many years ago in school, I decided to purchase this graphic novel version (Theseus: Battling the Minotaur by Jeff Limke and John McCrea). This Greek Myth is about Theseus, who is the son of King Aegeus, ruler of Athens. When he finds out the truth of his birth right, he makes a journey armed with his Father’s shield. He is forced to meet many obstacles along the way to claim his birthright, but the most challenging is his battle with the Minotaur, who is a half-man and half-bull. Theseus must enter a labyrinth, which is a maze and this is where the Minotaur lives. I really enjoyed reading this story and the graphics are just fantastic. If you are into graphic novels and Greek Mythology, you may want to check out this 48 page graphic novel publication.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Martial Art Myths).
