Shoud have put these on years ago!
Bike sounds awesome! a noticeable increase in power, pulls hard all RPM ranges. Paired with Wild Hog slip-on mufflers bike has this incredible sound I could only describe it as a really nice growling. Wife even commented on how nice the bike sounds plus she is ecstatic about how much cooler ridding is removing that stock crossover pipe that was sitting right by her foot... WHAT was Harley thinking when they designed the exhaust. I also have a feeling I am getting better gas mileage I am going to monitor the next few tanks to see how much gas mileage increased. I self installed took about 3 hours no problems.. Note you will need to reprogram ECM with these pipes and the muffler choice will make a huge difference in sound so if you read any complaints about these pipes know it is either poor muffler choice or wrong program loaded in to ECM. For me I am 110% satisfied with the VH Dresser Duals Plus the wife was pleased and noticed a big difference that is telling me I made the right choice. Oh one last thing the only problem with the instructions is the person interpreting them anyone with an ounce of mechanical ability should have no problems and there is nothing wrong with the clamps they are fine.... geezzz

Quality Product
Installed these on my '08 Ultra; man what a difference in sound, heat, and MPG. Install was easy (first time I've installed pipes); took me by myself about 3 hours. After the install, I updated the PC V to the proper map. Since the install I'm getting around 45 MPG. This definitely helped with the other mods I have (SE Stage 1 intake, slip-ons, PC V).

Great pipes once installed! Should have been easy install.
It's great once installed, I had my issues installing. I had a problem mount so I didn't know how to install. Directions where not difficult and not clear. Want sure where and how to use the clamps that support the pipes. Wasn't clear on a easy job. They are great now enjoy riding more now with installed. Top quality! 4 star for install.

A perfect fit
My 2007 Road King had a K&N air filter, stock exhaust, 3.5 inch Rinehart slip on mufflers and Power Commander III USB. my wife was complaining every time she went on a ride with me about the heat from the crossover pipe. I commute on I-5 between Lakewood and SeaTac every day in traffic and the heat was uncomfortable to me when stopped. The Vance and Hines Dresser duals solved this problem. I've read reviews that mention noise and loss of torque. The sound changed because the exhaust is now exiting from both pipes. I suppose this would increase the volume a little with sound coming out of two mufflers. It sounds the same to me. I remapped using Power Commander download 812-016 and now the bike runs better than ever. I'm still getting 42mpg. I sprayed WD40 on all the nuts and bolts I had to loosen to remove the old exhaust the night before I did the work. It was more work taking the old exhaust off than it was installing the new exhaust. You will need to buy new gaskets. I bought the Vance and Hines gaskets sold on Amazon. The new exhaust joins the head differently than the old exhaust does so you will absolutely need those gaskets.

Disappointing product
I have purchased Vance and Hines products for years. My 08 Road King has numerous V&H add on's (slip on's, throttle pack, Fuel Pak). This is a disappointing product from V&H. My complaints have to do with the vague instructions for installation, particularity for the rear exhaust mounting. Through trial and error I finally figured it out having to move the exhaust around numerous times. I'm also concerned with the muffler clamps which came with the dresser dual kit. They are not as sturdy as the clamps which came with the V&H slip on's I was using. Because of the design of the duals, I had to use the clamps from the kit. Time will tell if these pipes will stand the quality test after putting some miles on them. They look much better than the stock exhaust with lots of chrome and they sound incredible, a very deep rumble without being too loud.
