Very happy with these cake drums and will order again in the future! Sturdy with a clean finish. I will be ordering again and referring other bakers to you.**Just got these today and they look nice, but unfortunately they are not completely grease proof. There is a small gap between the top of the board and its side where the grease proof wrap isn't touching and it immediately showed a grease spot when some buttercream touched the area.I also didn't receive any Free satin cake ribbon for the border which was supposed to be included.

I purchased these drums a few weeks ago. They are not 100% grease-proof. That isn’t the biggest issue for me, since the parts I get icing on are the spots the cake will remain after finishing. The big issue that I have is that most of the boards have a bow in them—they aren’t completely flat. So if you just lay the drum on the counter, or any flat surface, you can literally rock it like a see-saw. This makes it extremely difficult to base ice on these drums, as the sides of the finished cake won’t be at a 90° angle around the entire circumference of the cake. I’m writing this review in hopes that the packaging will be improved, so that these drums aren’t so tightly packaged, that they begin to bend..or whatever may be causing this bending issue. If that’s fixed, I’d definitely be a repeat customer!UPDATE: The company has (quickly) replaced the warped cake drums with a new pack, and the new pack isn’t warped! No more rocking cake drums! Thank you!

I use these 10 inch boards for my 8 inch 2 tiered cakes. They hold up really well. I transfer in and out of the fridge constantly while working on my cakes and the board doesn't crease, bend, stain, or absorb any oils. Will definitely purchase again.

It’s a fine sturdy cake drum, especially if you’re making a tiered cake. My only complaint is that this isn’t a great board to use while decorating.I ended up with a lot of grease stains and wasn’t able to change boards because I had wooded dowels in place already.I also noticed some lifting that I had to glue with a glue gun.Aside from those little hiccups, it’s a decent board for the convenience.8/10

These drums are pretty sturdy to hold tall cakes (I've placed upto 3lb of finished cake) and my guess is it can take couple more pounds. The edges are pretty and overall the look of the cake is enhanced.However the drum is actually 2 pieces- the top cake board which touches the cake has been separately stuck to a ore wrapped drum and as a result the seam is not clean. It is not easily visible once the cake goes on it, but the glues part keeps making a crinoline noise when handling making me worry that the glue will just come off one of these days and cause a disaster. Hope it doesn't happen.Other than this one issue, it is a great set for the price.

These are great because of the uniformity of the design so no matter if it's 8, 10 or 12, they all look the same! Very sturdy and make a wonderful display!

As a cake decorator my time is valuable and I used to make my own cake drums. You know hot glue 3 boards together, cover in fondant and trim with ribbon. It's great. You can make a drum for less than $1, but there are so many steps involved. These drums look amazing. I never cover them in fondant. I never trim them with ribbon. And I'm so happy with the result. The 10" size is pretty versatile, I would love some 12" ones, but for most of my normal orders the 10" is perfect. These are a great deal at roughly $2.50/drum and like I said before are a huge time saver. Will continue ordering.
