As advertised- like the serving in separate packages. Very tasty.

Although the grains weren't as dark as I remember them being back in the 60's and 70's, it still had the same flavor, and what's more important, the texture was identical. Will purchase more when I'm getting low.

I usually love this brand and always buy grechka (buckwheat) from Uvelka. I never had any issues until the last two batches I bought. The grains looked good before boiling but had odd almost plastic-y smell and taste after boiling. The taste was very bad. Inedible so I had to throw it away. As I said I had bought this many times before and this is the first time I’m encountering this problem. It also was a problem with every bag in the box. Something is wrong with the last few batches of this buckwheat.

This buckwheat was very strange. It didn't perform like normal buckwheat. I tried to make bread with this brand of buckwheat, and it was unusable. I had to throw it out before even baking because it expanded too much, became overly mushy and had a terrible odor and actually made me gag. I've never seen another brand of buckwheat do this. I will not purchase this brand again.
