To be honest, I ordered this smoke infuser on a whim. It's not something I felt I had to have. I had never used one before, and I don't even know anyone who owns one. However, it certainly sounded like a pretty cool kitchen tool to put in our kitchen tool bag. And after using it several times, I’m really glad I ordered it. It works *really* well. I like it a lot.After taking this smoker out of the box, the first thing I tried it out on was a piece of soft cheese. I think smoking a piece of soft cheese was a good first choice because it gave me a really good idea of the amount of smoke flavor that this smoker is capable of infusing.And now, with that said, it’s able to infuse A LOT of smoke flavor. My piece of soft cheese was way, waaay too smoky. In fact, it was nearly inedible. But, of course, that was 100% my fault. I ignored the recommendations and left the cheese sitting in the smoke-filled dome for about five minutes. That was far too long. Somewhere around one minute would have been plenty of time.Now, the reason I told you all of that is to make you aware of the power of this smoke infuser. It works really well. Incredibly well actually, so you need to be careful with it. A little smoke goes a long way.So, to sum up, I like this little smoker a lot. It does exactly what it’s designed to do – infuse smoke flavor. I got the starter kit so I had everything I needed in one box. It works surprisingly well for when you quickly need to add smoke flavor to a dish. I always wanted one of these ever since watching chefs on Chopped use it in a pinch. Now I'm a professional!

First one didn't work. Got a replacement. Second one also didn't work. Even if it would have worked out would still be badly made, the batteries ain't actually fit, you have to force them in and out nearly splits the handle apart.

Unfortunately batteries could not fit so device could not work.

The battery compartment is a pain on this smoker. Battery barely fit in, to the point that it feels like something is wrong, and the cover is difficult to get back in place. It is also finnicky, with the device sometimes not turning on. When it does work, it works well. The device is basically just an air pump with a grate to burn sawdust on, with a plastic dome included. The plastic is on the cheap side and not something you can pop in the dishwasher, which is okay considering it does not come in direct contact with food. Still, this is not the quality I was hoping for and would only recommend it on sale. If it is on sale, it is a decent way to jump into cold smoking.

This works great at infusing some great flavor into so many things!! Blush the reveal is fun when entering people!!

Great little gadget that adds that wonderful smokey flavor to food and drinks.Works well. Great during the winter when you don't want to fire up the charcoal grill!

Received this smokers today, comes with everything you need, even with a nice smoking dome. However after inserted the 4 AA battery the battery cover is extremely hard to put back. After wondering around with the battery cover, finally put it back on.Try to operate the unit I have to press firmly on the battery cover otherwise it will not operate. It was a nice package come with smoking dome, fan noise is quite low, but the battery compartment kills everything. Return the unit to Amazon.

Made a wonderful smoked tomato salad!

This is a fantastic smoker that is compact, portable, easy to use and extremely effective. It quickly and easily infuses food with smoke created by burning real wood chips. The kit comes with everything needed to run the infuser a few times. It comes with a small amount of wood chips, but it can be used with any type of wood that is properly prepared by cutting it into small pieces to be burned in the smoker. It's a very uncomplicated to set up and use smoker, and the kit includes easy to follow instructions. Keeping it clean is a breeze, and it takes up very little storage room. It works perfectly and it makes food taste great. This is an excellent smoker that is exactly as described.

The wood chips that come with this aren't all that good - but if you grind them up they will do. A much better experience with other chips though.I'm not a big fan of apples but strangely enough, the applewood and Schneiders Juicy Jumbos are TERRIFIC.This model comes with the dome lid and everything you need - I'm going to get some maple chips for baked ham.RECOMMENDED
