Compressed Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cake "Bru:ge Waffle" 7.1 ounce (200 g) Thick Taste

Real Chinese PU-erh of excellent quality and at a good price. I liked this tea. Rich color, pleasant taste, woody notes. A couple of slices per liter of water in a thermos is what you need on a rainy day when there is a lot of work. I also added a video of unpacking tea.

The thing I love the most about this tea is how easy it is to snap a piece apart, not needing any special tool or scale to weight the leaves, as I typically do. Each piece weights about 4 g each, so one is perfect for a session with a gaiwan, or as I like to sometimes like to do, throw it in a mug full of hot water, drink and refill until it's out of flavor. Earthy, woody with a nice body. Feels good on the body.

This is a great tea - this brand has whole leaves that are compressed and a subtle taste that is smoother than regular tea. I have purchased other brands (same compressed style) that end up being shredded leaves but this contains whole leaves and the taste is better. A small piece expands to a large bunch of leaves that you can steep more than once. As soon as I tried this out I ordered another one bc I was so happy. If you are curious, the brick is fairly easy to break up. It no bearing on the taste but I love the circle.

I have been looking for a reasonably priced Pu'er tea and this is the best I have found on Amazon so far. This is not very old (older is better) and still manages to hold up well.Good product.
