Always love the mood this film brings but in this case the blu ray is middling at best. Some of the movies we wait ages for blu ray releases of, are just not remasterd at all. Just the same DVD print put on to a superior disc format. I wish the companies would stop this bad practice and clean these films up, before wasting a blu ray disc. And our waiting time and money.

An exiting film with a lot of action!

Come on 24 years and the blu ray was the perfect opportunity to finally release the film with the alternate version of the last quarter of the movie like they did years ago with Mel Gibson's Payback, but no we get a slightly improved picture and the same DVD extras that have been out for years, missed opportunity by Paramount to have made some money from this movie.

Understand and under appreciated. Fun espionage as international thief Simon Templar battles Russian mafia oil industrialists for free energy cold fusion. Super slick filmmaking by Philip Noyce and fun master of disguises by Val Kilmer. Cinematography within the genre is well realised. There’s a director’s cut of THE SAINT in Paramount vault that the studio has yet to release. With Paramount Plus the directors cut should be made available with news of a reboot of the franchise going into production!

The Saint- ich sah den bereits in den 90igern und dachte der muss in meine Sammlung. Der Film ist ein typischer 90iger Jahre Actionfilm- Erotik und Verfolgungsjagden- da spricht auch nichts dagegen. Ich mag Val Kilmer und er spielt seine Rolle auch wirklich gut und ich finde seine Verkleidungen in diesem Film einfach witzig. Elisabeth Shue spielt die weibliche Hauptrolle ebenfalls mit sehr viel Leidenschaft und auch wirklich gut- zusätzlich ist sie ein Hingucker für die Männerwelt.
